Jimmy Dean Weichel
Jimmy Dean Weichel, 69, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Lancaster Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln, NE. Jimmy was born on July 14, 1952 to John and Irene Weichel and was one of 5 children. Jimmy attended the University of Nebraska and loved cooking, gardening, music, National Parks and the great outdoors. He worked in several professions, including teaching, but always gravitated back to culinary arts and the restaurant industry. He opened and worked in numerous restaurants over the years, culminating in co-owning L’Auberge Restaurant in Estes Park, CO, with his brother Jack. In his spare time, you could generally find Jimmy doing something outdoors, whether it was bicycling from Lincoln, NE, to West Yellowstone, Montana, or climbing one of the peaks in either Rocky Mountain or Olympic National Parks. To that end, Jimmy asked that his ashes be spread in one of those two National Parks. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, John and Irene Weichel; older sister Jeanette (Weichel) Mohlman, older brother Jack Weichel, and niece Michelle (Yakel) Estes. Jimmy is survived by his oldest sister Judy (Weichel) McConnell; older brother Johnny Weichel; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jimmy prefers memorial gifts in lieu of flowers, and specifically asked for memorials to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. To leave a condolence please use the form below.

Guy William Wyman
On Monday, November 29, 2021, Guy Wyman passed away at the age of 53 after a year long battle with stage 4 cancer.
Guy was born on September 25, 1968 in Lincoln, NE to his parents Jacob and Darlene (Hartsock) Wyman. Guy loved the people in his life, but most of all his dog Tank. He had a passion for helping those around him and had an infectious personality that drew people to him. While at the Ambassador, he touched the lives of those around him, and made many friends along the way. He always had the ability to look at the bright side of any situation he was in. He regularly had a listening ear, and wasn’t afraid to give the truth of the situation to someone. He had a strong love for wolves. If you knew him, you knew his entire room was decorated with them. Most of all though, he was a great father.
Guy was preceded in death by his father, Jacob, and his mother, Darlene. He is survived by his daughter Ashley Wyman-Bambrough, brothers, sister, nieces and nephews.

David LeRoy Wilson
David LeRoy Wilson, age 64, of Lincoln, Ne., passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021. He was born on September 30, 1957 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Cebert and Phyllis Wilson. David lived in Lincoln for most of his life but also lived in Adams, Ne., Clatonia, Ne., and Kennard, Ne. David’s favorite pastime was going to the races. He loved everything about racing. David also loved mowing the church yard at Life Tabernacle. It was important to him to make sure the yard looked nice for every church service. His dedication was evident in the work he put into making the property look its’ very best. For many years David worked as a van driver for Holiday Inn. He always tried to make sure the guests were well taken care of. He was a kind and compassionate person; always willing to help anyone. He was a living example of Ephesians 4:32. (And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.) David was also a tow truck driver for many years and he loved doing this job as well. David is survived by his sister, Cathy (Wilson) Clover, of Lincoln; his sister, Sandra Smith, of Texas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; father, Cebert Lee Wilson and mother, Phyllis Elizabeth (Haefner) Wilson; sister, Debbie (Wilson) Snook and brother, Dan L. Wilson. Lois J (Stolley) Wischmann
Lois was born Aug 6, 1937 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Herbert and Lena (Tibbs)Stolley. She married Donald Wischmann on April 10, 1964. She passed away on Sept 5, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Donald Wischmann; son Mark Wischmann; Jon (Kristel) Wischmann; grand children Dustin Wischmann, Lena Wischmann (Hayden), Faith Glinsmann, Timothy (Krystal) Carr, Asa(Jessica) Carr, and Daniel Vondra. Great grandson Asher, several great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces; special friends Linda Keller and Dee Glinsmann. Lois is proceeded in Death by her parents and Sister and brother -in-law Joanne (Stolley) & Vernon Mares.
