“Patti” Patricia Ann Alexander
In loving memory of Patti Alexander 01/29/1945 – 05/30/2019 A wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and great friend who will be missed by so many. Patti was a resident of Lincoln, Nebraska at the time of passing. She is formerly from Paramount, California and originally from Athol, Massachusetts. Patti was President of the American Legion Post 134 in Paramount, California. She loved to golf with the Lions Club. When she moved to Nebraska, she became an avid Husker fan as well. She loved to play bingo on the weekend and she loved spending time with her kids. She loved getting manicures and pedicures. She looked forward to time with the grand kids, and of course the great grand kids. Patti loved her independence when living at Burke Plaza with her friends and being a senior companion in the community. She loved helping people out. Her and friends at Burke loved doing puzzles and watching the Huskers play football together. She just loved people. Preceded by parents George and Elizabeth (Pratt) Purrington and brother William Purrington. Surviving family includes her son Melvin “Mel” Alexander; and daughters Elizabeth Sarvat, Leona Selby and Teresa Connor; sisters Rita MacLean and Barbara Budzinski; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; & countless friends. Celebration of Patti’s life was on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Burke Plaza, 6721 L Street in Lincoln. Memorials to the family for future designation.

Margaret W. Angelos
Margaret Westergren Angelos, the younger daughter of Alma Neilson & Arthur Cornelius Westergren, grew up in Cadillac, MI, attended Central Michigan College & received her RN degree from Edward W Sparrow Hospital in 1953 & Enterostomal Therapy Certification later on in life. She married Theodore Art Angelos,MD. They lived in Canton, SD for many years, raised children Brad (Evelyn) Angelos, Melanie Angelos, Melissa (Jay) Sveen and Brock (Amy) Angelos before moving to Lincoln, NE, when they both retired to be closer to family. They enjoyed being grandparents of Allyson & Adrienne Angelos, Jared (Leah) Sveen, Stephanie (Will) Hansen, Dan (Stacy) Sveen & Nicholas Angelos. Margaret was an avid vegetable & flower gardener, baker, oil painter, seamstress, & camping enthusiast. She was a loving great grandmother to Braxton & Beckham Sveen, Emery & Leighton Sveen and Gavin & Camryn Hansen. She passed away on April 29, 2019 and will be greatly missed. Her memorial service will be held at Canton Lutheran Church on May 26th at 2:00 pm in Canton,SD, with the internment to be a private ceremony of the immediate family.

Rosetta “Rose” Margeartha Agena, 84, of Lincoln (born in Adams), passed away May 7th, 2018.
Rose is survived by her children, Patti, Kenny (Patty), Rhonda, Terry (Sherri), Sheila (Les) and Randy; grandchildren, Autumn, Megan, Estelle, Nolan, Amanda, Samantha, Casandra, Conner; seven great-grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by her husband Lavern Agena, her parents Thomas and Katherine Dorn, her two sisters, two brothers, and her best friend Shirley Winniger
