Linda Louise Anderson
Born on September 28, 1950.
Passed away on August 27, 2020.
Linda passed away in the early morning hours of Thursday August 27th, 2020. She was surrounded by her family in the days prior to her death. She passed away in the arms of her high school sweetheart and husband of 50 years, Roger.
She graduated from Bellevue High School in 1968 and went on to marry Roger Anderson on December 20, 1969. They had 2 children, a daughter, Tara; and son, Donald.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1975. They moved to Lincoln, Nebraska in 1980 where they have been a part of the Bethany Park congregation for the past 40 years.
She had great faith in the scriptures and Jehovah’s promise to restore the earth to paradise conditions (Psalms 37:28,29). Her faith in the resurrection hope removed any fears of death (Revelation 21:3,4). She was greatly loved by her family and the Bethany Park congregation.
She loved to take trips to the Oregon coast and camp on the beaches. She liked watching thunderstorms from her porch swing, ice-cream, and gathering with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Roger, their daughter Tara Blow and her husband Greg, son Donald Anderson and his wife Theresa. She had 5 grandchildren, Kate Kucera and her husband Jared, Mady Huen and her husband Parker, Norah Blow, Rayna and Easton Apley.
She will be greatly missed by all.

management positions with Northern Natural Gas in Omaha, the University of

engineering associations throughout his career. After he retired, he taught
graduate courses in engineering management at UNL and worked for four years
transporting residents of a skilled nursing facility.

Kathleen Havener, and grandchildren Scott, Shannon, Alex and Robby. Survivors
also include niece Lynn Sturek (Don), nephews Kurt, Gil and Scott, and great
nieces and nephews Jeff, John, Kacie, Kristen, Kara, Coleman and Ella. We love
him and he will be greatly missed.

Lori Anne Allison
Born on November 12, 1960. Passed away on July 19, 2020. Lori Allison was born in Toronto, Ontario to Bill and Margot Allison who immigrated to Canada from Scotland. Lori loved science in school and received B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto. She then did postdoctoral research in Paris, France and at Rutgers University that helped pioneer putting foreign genes into plant cells. She came to Nebraska in 1996 to take a faculty position in the UNL Biochemistry Department, where she met her husband, John Markwell. After a half dozen years of teaching and research, she decided to change careers and pursued a Pharm.D. degree from Creighton University and became a pharmacist at CHI St. Elizabeth Hospital. Lori loved cats and was thought of affectionately as a Cat Lady by many that knew her. She loved Sammy from 2000 to 2015 and then doted on Allison, a three-legged rescue cat from 2016 until her passing. Her cats were a major part of her life and shared every year with friends and family on her Christmas cards. She enjoyed knitting and made beautiful, unique gifts for her family members and friends. Wearing red and being an avid Cornhusker fan was a passion of Lori’s, as was visiting National Parks. She was a loving aunt and spoiled her nieces and nephews with candy and fun presents at birthdays and holidays and was a fun and influential part of life for John’s children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking with her husband and trying new foods. Lori is survived by her husband John Markwell and his kids (Tristan and Caitlin), her parents (Bill and Margot), three brothers (Robert, Peter and David), two sisters in law (Patrice and Robin), four nephews (Cameron, Connor, Graham and Thomas) and two nieces (Lauren and Grace). Sarah Anne Anthes
On March 1, 1986, Sarah Anne Anthes, the pride and joy of Teresa Lynn (Wilbur) Anthes was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. On November 19, 1993, her mother was married to Michael Charles Kimmen Jr. Sarah was so excited to have him as her father. She also gained a sister, Ashley Lynn Kimmen, whom she loved very much. Sarah attended school at Huntington Elementary, Clinton Elementary, Culler Middle School, Goodrich Middle School, Lincoln High School and Bryan. She graduated in 2004. When Sarah was around 18 years old, she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. She had many health problems throughout her life. It wasn’t unusual for her to be in the hospital 4 or 5 times a year from her diabetes related problems. On October 31, 2015, Sarah’s mother passed away. She was greatly saddened. Sarah loved children and always had nieces, nephews and other friends’ children spend the night. Little children were always drawn to her and helped brighten up her life, as she was unable to have children or work as a result of her condition. Some of her interests were Harry Potter, Scooby-Doo, Wrestling, Batman, and football. Sarah was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Nebraska Cornhuskers. On the morning of January 14, 2020, Sarah Anne Anthes passed away at Bryan LGH West Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. Michael W. Argello
Michael was born in Hastings, Nebraska to Norma Jean Hendrickson Harris. He was a 1970 graduate of Lincoln Northeast High School. Mike worked a variety of positions during his life from Salesman to Manager to book store owner to entrepreneur to call center specialist. He always liked variety. His joy in life was journaling, reading, collecting pens and having a good latte. Mike was also a giver, always paying it forward and donating to various charities. He believed in wanting to help those less fortunate than he. He was a former member of the Lincoln Evening Optimist Club. In 1989 he met the love of his life, Karen Adamsheck, where else but in a coffee bar. Together they enjoyed travelling. Their favorite travel spots were Las Vegas, Door County, Wisconsin and Overland Park, Kansas. They frequently went to Overland Park to shop the book stores, pen stores and restaurants. Mike was an avid Husker/Saints/Green Bay Packer/Chiefs/Golden Warrior fan and loved to play cribbage. Since his retirement in 2017, he enjoyed spending Sunday’s with his best friend, John, studying the Bible. Survivors: the love of his life for the last 30 years, Karen Adamsheck; sisters: Kambra Kreifels and husband Chuck, Kim Colgrove, and brother: Kendall Harris and wife Laurie, several nieces, nephews, great nephews, great niece, great-great nephews, and best friend John Schuff. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean Harris, brother in-law Bruce Colgrove, and his dog Shatsu. No visitation/cremation. No service at this time.
