Nadine “Dinna” Frances Stoneman
02/28/1944 – 04/13/2021 Born in North Platte, NE to Lyle and Margaret (Brown) Stoneman. Nadine (Dinna) graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska with a bachelors degree in the science of nursing in May 1993. Dinna is survived by her daughter Deborah Lind and son in law Mark Lind, daughter Dawn Scanlon, seven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Nicholas Neal Sacca
Nicholas Neal Sacca, age 61 of Waverly, Nebraska passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 4th, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. Nick was born January 2nd, 1960 in Lincoln Nebraska, to Dominic and Betty (Adair) Sacca. He grew up in Greenwood, Nebraska. Nick went to Ashland/Greenwood High School. Nick was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed car races and motorcycle races, cooking, family and life. Nick is survived by his brothers, Brad and (Jenn) Sacca of Organ, New Mexico, Cory Sacca of Papillion, NE.; two daughters, and one son, and 5 grandchildren; sisters-in-laws Nancy Sacca of Waverly, NE, Susan Sacca of Greenwood, NE, Elaine Sacca of Lincoln, NE, and Teresa Sacca, Papillion, NE; nieces Shera (James) Sipes of Port Charlotte, Florida, Jamie Alley of Lincoln, Lindsey (Joe) Martinez of Laguna Vista, Texas, Andrea Sacca of Lincoln and Jordan Bridgmon of Papillion, Nebraska; nephews Michael Sacca of Waverly, Nebraska, Josh (Delia) Sacca of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Richard (Kirstin) Sacca of Lincoln, Trevin (Jetta) Sacca of Garland, Texas, and Colby Sacca of Papillion, Nebraska; great nieces Ashtin Sacca of Lincoln, Alyssa Sacca of Lincoln, Kaylee Sipes of Ashland, Nebraska, Mara Bridgmon of Papillion, Nebraska, Breanna Gamboa of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Amerie Sacca of as Las Cruces, New Mexico; great nephews Jared Sipes of Lincoln, Tamra (Dave) Tridle, Port Charlotte, Florida, Dalton (Jenna) Sacca of Glenwood, Iowa, Alex Sacca of Lincoln, Dominic Sacca of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Wyatt Alley of Lincoln, and Mason McMillian of Lincoln; several great -great nephews and nieces. Steven Wayne Songster
It is with deep sadness that we share with you that Steve Songster passed away on March 14, 2021. Born September 19, 1954 in Hastings, NE to Phyllis June Songster (Stone) and Harry Jr Songster He graduated from Hastings Senior High and went on to study electronics at Southeast Community College. He was a former Avionics Technician for the US Air Force from 1974-1977, worked at Lester Electrical for 10 years then was proud to be an engineer with the State of Nebraska – Department of Corrections for the rest of his working career. He finally retired in July of 2020. He is survived by his wife Susan, daughters Tessa (Marcus) Boesiger, Tara (Colin) Miles, step-son Eric (Tiffany) Jones, and step-daughter Amy (Christopher) Pester, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and his younger sister Debra Boyer. He is preceded in death by his brothers Mike and Dave and his parents Harry and Phyllis. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had a kind heart and was full of wit. He will be dearly missed. Plans for a Celebration of Life will be made at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Nebraska Heart Foundation.
