Margery E. Petersen

Margery “Marge” Elaine Petersen, age 69, of Lincoln, NE, passed away on March 5, 2024 at The Grace Space with family by her side. She was born on November 12th, 1954 in McCook, NE.
Survived by her husband, Cary Petersen, son Ryan (Crystal) Petersen of Honolulu and daughter Lori (Philippe) Labra of Lincoln; grandsons Tyler and Paxton of Honolulu; sisters Alice (Rex) Mihulka of Columbus and Phyllis (Bill) Kingery of Lincoln.
Preceeded in death by her parents, Gerald and Wanda Hedges and brother, John Hedges.
She was a daycare provider for 20 years. As per Marge’s request, she will be cremated and there will be no visitation and no memorial service.
In lieu of memorial, donations can be sent to the Lincoln Food Bank or Lincoln City Mission.

Joey Eugene Miller

Joey Miller 67, of Lincoln NE, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2024. He was born to Eugene and Bernice (Jones) Bauer on November 27, 1956.

Joey grew up in Lincoln, NE. When he was younger he enjoyed being with family at the lake, camping and water skiing during the summer. Family gatherings were always special to him. Joey drove for Ready Mixed Concrete and T.O. Haas for many years, then went on to drive a city bus for StarTran. After meeting his beloved Jenni, he moved to Fordland, MO. Together, they enjoyed the outdoors and lending a hand to friends and neighbors. When Joey returned to Lincoln he looked forward to spending time with his sister Jeannie – going to lunch or getting a coffee at Scooters.

He is survived by his son Daniel (Luz) Miller, Crete, NE.; his granddaughter Kayleigh Miller; grandson Caleb Marsh; His sisters Jeannie (Mark) Darrington, Shannon (Larry) Vlasnik and Sharon Smice all of Lincoln. Vicki Parrish, Union, MO. Sandra Novotny, Henderson, NV; brother Troy Bauer, Lincoln, NE; Nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Tina Henderson and Victoria Karczewsk; His brothers Willard “Willie” Miller and Michael “Mike” Bauer; His brothers in-law Gary Henderson, Allen Parrish, William Novotny, James Smice and David Strange; Niece Nicole Winistoefer; Nephew Matthew Bauer; and his partner of 25 years, Jenni Miller.

Joey will always be treasured in our hearts for his sense of humor and loyalty to family and friends.

Harold Lloyd Crisler

Harold Lloyd Crisler, 89, of Lincoln, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 29, 2024, with family by his side. He was born on March 30, 1934, in Lincoln to Lloyd and Mildred (Burlington) Crisler.

Harold is survived by his children, Stacey (Greg) Lima, and Michael Crisler, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, brother Ron (Shay) Crisler, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son Steve, parents, sister Darlene, and brother Robert.

A gathering of family and friends will held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2024, at Lincoln Berean Church, 6400 S. 70 th St. (70th & Hwy. 2).
