Peggy Anne (Lindblad) Stohs, 71 years of age, of Lincoln passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at home due to advanced stages of dementia. She was born February 18, 1955, in Beatrice, NE, to Clifford and Geraldine (Ratchford) Lindblad.  Peggy was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Beatrice.  She graduated from Beatrice High School in 1973.  Peggy was a member at Christ Lincoln Church.

Peggy was a loving and devoted partner, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all.  Peggy cherished being a grandmother to her seven grandchildren and enjoyed supporting their activities.  She enjoyed cooking and baking, playing cards and games with others, family gatherings, bowling, Bunco and needlework.  Peggy was also a Breast Cancer survivor.

Peggy is survived by her significant other of 31 years, Ed Starnes; son, Christopher (Brandee) Stohs of Clive, IA; daughter, Angela (Brian) Rauner of Lincoln, NE; Kim (Charlie) Starnes of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren, Samuel, Abbigail and Connor Stohs of Clive, IA,  Preston (Hannah), Rylee (Keaton), Cameron and Blake Rauner of Lincoln; siblings, Cindy (Craig) Lutz and Ronnie (Patti) Lindblad, both of Florida, Gayle (Kurt) Dodd of Lincoln, Carla (Steve) Roelfs of North Platte, Rick (Cindy) Lindblad of Beatrice, Jo Ann (Bob) Slama of Peru; sister-in-law, Peggy Lindblad, Lori (Van) Shotzman, Shari (Terry) Brauch; Patti (Johnny) Petty and Bonnie Starnes, both of Tennessee; father-in-law, Ivan Stohs; and many beloved nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Geraldine Lindblad; brother, Lonnie Lindblad; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Stohs; Bill Starnes and Ricky Starnes.
