Darcy Jo Johnson

Darcy Jo Johnson, age 40, died on Saturday, November 4th, 2017 at home.

Darcy was born on April 16, 1977 in Heron Lake, Minnesota to Michael and Sandra (Schmidt) Johnson. She got her GED in Windom, Minnesota.

Darcy enjoyed collecting unicorn figurines, watching sitcoms, and always wanting to rearrange furniture! She was a wonderful mother. Her number one priority was her son, Austin. She gave him a loving and warm home. She was a wonderful friend to many.

Darcy is survived by her son, Austin Cowell; her parents Michael and Sandra (Schmidt) Johnson; sisters Kristi (David) Debusk and Jessica Johnson; brother Michael Johnson Jr. and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation. No visitation. No service at this time.

Marlene Gail Neville

Marlene Neville, age 82, of York, Nebraska, died Friday, November 3, 2017. She was born July 29, 1935 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Wilbur & Evelyn (Reimer) Wright. On November 26, 1955, she married Eugene Neville in Evanston, Illinois.

Marlene was a Husker football and volleyball fan and also loved the Green Bay Packers. She was a member of St Joseph’s Catholic Church in York, Nebraska.

Marlene is survived by her children Mike Neville of Grand Island, Nebraska, Karen (Tim) Wellman of York, Nebraska, Bob Neville of Omaha, Nebraska, Paul (Janet) Neville of Clinton, Oklahoma, Pat Neville of Kearney, Nebraska & Chris Neville of Waverly, Nebraska. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Dennis (Anita) Neville; sisters-in-law Sr. Eileen Neville of Yankton, South Dakota, Sue Neville of McCool Junction, Nebraska & Phyllis Wright of Kentucky; many nieces and nephews in Nebraska and Wisconsin and other relatives and friends.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her twin sister Marilyn (Wright) Doty, and her brother John Wright.

Patrick James Beecham

Pat lost his year long battle with cancer on Friday October 27th, 2017 at home in Bennet. Pat was born to Bill and Marie (Spratt) Beecham on February 18th 1954 in Lincoln Ne. He loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed watching football, Nascar, and old cowboy movies. Pat loved his grandchildren dearly and would have done anything for them. Pat liked nothing better than to sit on the deck and have a few drinks with friends talk about old times and watch the sun go down. He worked for Cushman for 25 years until they closed and ended his working career at ABC Pest Control as a pest control technician. He loved his customers and really enjoyed visiting with them.

Cremation. No visitation. Rosary was at 7pm, November 3rd at St. Leo Catholic Church in Palmyra. Mass of Christian Burial: 1pm, November 4th at St. Leo Catholic Church in Palmyra with Fr. Adam Sparling officiated.

A celebration of Pat’s life after the funeral at the Beecham family farm at County Road 12 and Highway 2 east of Palmyra.

Pat is survived by daughter Molly Beecham, Lincoln, wife Patty, Bennet, stepchildren Heather and Adam Powers, Lincoln, Aaron and Tara Regan, Eagle. Grandchildren Hailey Powers, Taylor Powers, and Dylan Regan. Brothers and sisters Jerry (Karen Aspegren), Margaret (Jonathan) Skean, Marykay (Bob) Gerken, Robert (Jan) Beecham, Jean Leblanc, Martin Beecham, Father in law and Mother in law Vern and Rita Miles, sisters in law Margaret (John) Traudt, Susan Stearns, a host of nieces and nephews, and countless friends. Pat was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John (Laura) Beecham, Timothy Beecham, nieces Sarah Skean and Amy Beecham, mother in law Edythe Sheldon, and stepson Buddy Regan

Pat would end this by saying: Everything will be all right, let’s all have a cocktail!
