Suzanne Juel Languis
Born to Willard and Edith Hulse on 02/01/1947 and raised alongside of her seven sisters and two brothers. Married Donald Languis on August 27, 1967 and reared two sons and a daughter. She lived a wonderful and fulfilling life amongst family and friends. She loved landscaping and sewing and was a very accomplished seamstress. Sue had a professional career until retirement at age 65 with Ameritas. Nature brought Sue much enjoyment and her backyard was her oasis. She and Don enjoyed entertaining family all summer. On 01/03/2021 Suzanne passed peacefully at home and leaves behind a loving husband, Donald, of nearly 54 years, their oldest son Shawn and wife Melissa and their two children Jordyn and Tanner, their daughter Carmon Yusten and her sons Corben and Gavin and their youngest son Jerome and his two children Brooke and Rocky. She was preceded in death by her parents Willard and Edith Hulse Don’s parents Edward and Florence Languis, sister Beverly and husband Bill Ely and brother Charles Hulse. She is survived by her siblings and their families: sister Beverly (Bill) Ely (both dec.); Joyce, Peggy, Larry (dec.), sister Donna (George dec.) Thompson; Kim, Kelly, Jennifer and Francine who died at birth; sister Janice (Del) Galusha; Darin, Dana, Jina and Joni, sister Judy (Rex) Becker; Bryan, Tony and Jill, brother Marvin (Corinne) Hulse; Annie and Chad, sister Cynthia (Jon) Rethwisch; Jeremiah, Jesse and Jason, sister Gloria (Jim) Swartz; Ashley and Emily; brother Charles Hulse (dec.); Brent, Brad and Cory; sister Crystal (Kevin) Davis; Lindsey and Matthew. Countless second nieces and nephews and several cousins. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Sue was a good wife, good mother, good friend and good person. Larry Eugene Luginbill
From Lincoln, Nebraska Larry Luginbill was born on April 19, 1954 to Ruth and Wayne Luginbill. He passed away and joined his wife Jamie Luginbill on December 7, 2020. Larry was a father to Brian Luginbill, Jeromie Luginbill and Kelly Luginbill. His two biggest fans were his grandchildren Caleb Luginbill and Izabella Andrews. Larry worked at Burlington Northern as a Carman from the age of 19 until he retired at the age of 60. He not only loved working on cars, but enjoyed talking about them for hours. He was a natural protector and worked hard everyday to provide for his family. Passed away on December 7, 2020. He will be greatly missed. Charles Edward Lanning
Charles Edward Lanning, 66, died Monday August 31, 2020 of respiratory failure complications due to COVID. Born April 11, 1954 in Omaha, NE. The son of Jack & Henrietta Lanning. Married May 31, 1975 to Deborah Hamilton. He is survived by: Daughters: Alena (Gabe) Lechner and Cassie (Jeff) Barlow; Grandchildren: Rory, Samantha, Charles & Jaxson. Jeanne Marguerite Lee
Jeanne Margarite Lee was from Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born on September 23, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to Bessie and Ruel Fay. She was an only child but was raised with her cousin Muriel (Grey) Daks. They grew up enjoying dancing. At only 16 years of age, Jeanne was dancing at Edgewater Beach Hotel on the Chicago lake front during the era of the “Big Bands”. She said she loved boys but loved dancing more. She attended collage at Blackburn College in Carlinville, Il. She met her future husband, Dr. Leonard R. Lee, M.D. on a blind date and they were married in 1944 during his first year of medical school at the University of Chicago. They moved from Chicago to Bethany, Missouri for Len’s family practice. The military intervened and they were off to England for a couple of years. They returned to Chicago for Len’s specialty training in Internal Medicine. They then continued on to Lincoln where Len practiced Primary Care and then devoted full time to the practice of Oncology-Hematology. They retired in 1984 and enjoyed many years wintering in Yuma, Arizona. Jeanne was a member of The Cosmopolitan Club, PEO, Lincoln Country Club, Hillcrest Country Club, Yuma Country Club and the Nebraska Medical Auxiliary. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and several Lincoln hospitals’ gift shops. Jeanne enjoyed bowling, golf, bridge, knitting, needle point and playing cards and games with her husband. Jeanne passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 with her family by her side. She and Len enjoyed a lifetime of adventures loving each other for over 75 years, raising two sons, Jeff and Jon, enjoying her eight grandkids and 6 great grandchildren. Jeff and Robin are from Adams, Nebraska and raised five kids, Jason Lee of Lincoln, Krystal Lanning (Kevin) of Papillion, NE, Mandy Varley (Dennis) of Douglas, NE, Alexandra Lee (her partner Austin Cosgrove) of Lincoln and Samantha Reinhardt (Philip) of Lincoln. Jon and Barb are from Lincoln and raised three, Josh Lee (Alison) of Denver, CO, Danielle Lee and Victoria Lee both of Lincoln; great grandchildren Tyrnie, Lillian, Everlee, Sadie, Arwin and Wyatt. Jeanne had a host of family including her cousin Jeanette Burgess from Livonia, MI, cousins Peter Daks (Marlene) of Tampa, FL and Tim Daks (Roberta) of Monselice, Italy; Dave Barron (Cindy) of Elkhorn, NE, Jeff Barron (Jeanne) of Northhampton, MA, Scott Barron (Leslie) of Ashburn, Virginia, Kate Avillion of State Collage, PA, and Jenny Fishman (Scott) of Chicago, IL and many good friends including special friends Ann Tomhave and Dottie Matthews both of Lincoln.
