Connie graduated from Joseph’s College of Beauty School and was a hair dresser for many years. She then had various office/secretary jobs as she raised two daughters. Connie gave her life to Christ in 1985 and her commitment to being a Christian has always been evident. She had various health conditions for many years including battling cancer three times. She went to meet Jesus peacefully while in hospice care at the Monarch with her two daughters and brother by her side. We will certainly miss her saying things like “Oh my stars” and “Bless your heart”. We will always be reminded of her when we see the color purple. She loved all nine of her grandkids so very much and looked forward to the times she got to spend with them. She also loved Nebraska Football and was a die-hard committed fan her entire life. She wouldn’t miss a game and couldn’t believe when people would try and get her to do something that was during a Husker football game. We will remember her having such a kind heart and always trying to help people even when she needed help herself. We will dearly miss her serving heart and loving spirit.
