Douglas Lee Hanneman 70, born on May 14, 1953 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on February 26, 2024. He is preceded in death by parents Bill and Laverne & brother Ken and his beloved dog Percy. Doug’s life work of 45 years was dedicated primarily to being an electrician. He was motivated to leave his mark with his craft and worked at numerous companies. Doug was initiated into IBEW on 9/ 2014. He is survived by his wife Shellie & sisters Shelly, Kathy Stadler, Connie Peach, sister-in-law Paula, father-in-law Dick Morgridge & numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will take place on Friday, March 8 at 12 o’clock IBEW local 265 Hall. 1409 Old Farm Rd., Lincoln, NE. Memorials to Capital Human Society.
