Linda Whitehill, better known as Linda Amen, has passed on to her next adventure. Linda was proud of her work in construction since she was 16 years old. Construction was a channel for her skills and creativity. She traveled from New York to Hawaii, Canada to the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, but always returned to Lincoln, Nebraska. Linda served several years in the signal corps, U.S. Army Reserve. The oldest of nine children, Linda is preceded in death by her sister Robin and brother Justin Amen. No services are planned.

Daniel E. Walsh, 67, of Lincoln, NE passed away last week. Born in Sidney, NE; long-time resident of Lincoln; graduate of UNL: College of Engineering and MBA. Dan worked in construction engineering, real estate, and commercial banking at NBC and other Lincoln banks. He enjoyed golfing, trap shooting, and woodcarving. Gary Richard Whitson, age 72, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on June 23, 2018. Gary was born on May 4, 1946 in Opelika, Alabama. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1964. He then went on to study botany at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Gary served in the Navy from February, 1965 to December, 1968 on a flagship in the Philippines. In addition, Gary was on tour in Vietnam for four years April, 1969 to May, 1976. Gary then worked as manager of the photo lab for the Nebraska Department of Revenue. He operated several different floral shops. He was also a chef at The Acreage Restaurant in Lincoln. Before retiring, Gary spent ten years overseeing supplies for St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Left to cherish her memories as brother and sister is his dear sister Debra Johns of Lincoln. Gary requested no services.
