Charles was a very kind, caring, loving and compassionate person. Charles was a published author having written a few books. Charles loved to read, exercise, swim and run. At one time in his life, he actually ran in the Boston Marathon! He had a very high and loving interest for all animals. He donated money yearly to local charities for animals, but most of all enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his entire family, especially with his son Michael, who was the love and pride of his life.
