2-19-1962 to 9-21-2018 Daniel L. Rouse, 56, of Lincoln, beloved husband and father, passed away on September 21 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Jeanie, son D.J., daughter, Jenifer, grandson, James, brother Mike, and niece Jessica, all of Lincoln. Survivors also include his mother-in-law, Phyllis Troyer, Milford, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Shelly Troyer, Milford, Marla Kohmetscher, Grand Island, Tony and Renie Schaben, Milford, plus several nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by father, Howard Rouse, mother, Barbara (Bobbie) Regina, brother Toby Stutzman, and father-in-law, Kenneth Troyer. Betty Jean Roberts, age 89 died Monday September 17, 2018 in Lincoln. Born January 9th 1929 to Adolph and Elizabeth (Muntz) Bott in Atwood, Colorado. Betty worked at a number of jobs throughout her life but the most rewarding were her times as Manager of the Bonanza Restaurants in Beatrice and Lincoln, and her years spent as cashier at Mettlers Bakery & Klein’s Grocery and Super Saver Grocery from which she retired at the age of 87 years. She was a Life member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the VFW having served as President of the Auxiliary at Post 131, the District 7 level and finally as President of the Women’s Auxiliary of the VFW for the State of Nebraska. Member First Plymouth Congregational Church. Survivors include sons Bruce & friend Mesha of Lincoln, Lloyd (Diana) of Lincoln, grandchildren Tiffany (Jim) Baker, Sean, Heather and Brandi Roberts, Great grandchildren, Liam and Sophia Baker, and Liam Roberts. Brother Milton (Barbara) Bott of Arizona, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Brooke Roberts, sisters and husbands Dorothy (Ted) Ranft, Jeanette (Dale) French, Geraldine (Wayne) Hauck and sister-in-law Patricia Bott. The family will have a private celebration of life service. Cremation, no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Nebraska Alzheimer’s Foundation or The Capitol Humane Society. December 19, 1943 – July 13, 2018 Patricia Ann Ryan “Pat”, 74, of Geneva, formerly Lincoln, NE passed away July 13, 2018 in Lincoln, NE. Pat was the youngest born to Dana and Lucille Harbison (Kautz) in Georgetown, OH. After graduating high school, Pat began working for Wright-Patterson Airforce Base in Dayton, OH where she met her first husband Clifford Dill. From this union came one daughter Barbara. On August 26, 1977, she was united in Marriage to John “Jack” Ryan. Pat and Jack enjoyed 41 years of love, fun & adventure. Pat enjoyed a long career at Lincoln Electric System, and after 20+ years, she retired. To enjoy retirment life she and Jack decided to move to Geneva, NE where she was a member of Geneva United Methodist Church. Pat is survived by her husband Jack, daughter Barb (Scott) Engel Utica, NE; Step Children Steve (Julie) Ryan Elmwood, NE, Judy (Lee) Taylor Lincoln, NE, Mike (Gloria) Ryan Atlanta, GA; sisters Jeynie Muterspaw Severna Park, MD and Jayne Wiggin Mobile, AL; 8 grandchildren Zach (Sara) Ryan, Mandy Ryan, Nate (Jamie) Ryan, Travis Taylor, Trevor Taylor, Jon Taylor, Sydney Engel, Michaela Engel; 9 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Our sweet beloved Anna passed away on May 21, 2018. She had been fighting bronchitis, pneumonia and lung issues for a long time. Anna is survived by her mama, Michele Keyser, her papa, Christopher Keyser, her biological father, Samuel Rocha III, her sister, Kaylie Rocha, her step siblings, Brandon Bice Thompson, Hope Keyser, Kaci Fisk, Christopher “Bubba” Keyser, her grandparents, Michael Jusevich, Sally Jusevich, Candee Rocha, Connie Keyser, by her great grandparents Betty Hermelbracht, Pat Bober, Iola Wilson as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her aunt Elizabeth Jusevich, uncle Anthony Michael Castaneda her grandparent Samuel Rocha Jr., her great grandparents Frank and Mary Sak, Myron Hermelbracht, Ethel Houston. Anna was an angel here on earth. Everyone who had the privilege to know her loved her because of her beautiful smile and unconditional love that she shared with the people around her. To know her was to love her. Our beautiful butterfly has been set free to watch over us from heaven. Thank you Lord for giving us this amazing girl, whose body may not have worked properly but showed us how to live, laugh and love.
