Linda Whitehill aka Linda Amen
Linda Whitehill, better known as Linda Amen, has passed on to her next adventure. Linda was proud of her work in construction since she was 16 years old. Construction was a channel for her skills and creativity. She traveled from New York to Hawaii, Canada to the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, but always returned to Lincoln, Nebraska. Linda served several years in the signal corps, U.S. Army Reserve. The oldest of nine children, Linda is preceded in death by her sister Robin and brother Justin Amen. No services are planned.

Jimmy (Barney) Lee Barnett
Jimmy Lee Barnett, 60, passed away July 12, 2018 in Lincoln Nebraska surrounded by people who loved him. He was born on August 1, 1957 in Crete NE to Bob and Arlene Barnett. Barney was known for his loud contagious laugh, his love for cooking, and entertaining others. He enjoyed bowling in leagues, and fishing. Most of all, Barney loved going on long trips across the country on his motorcycle. He is survived by his daughters Kelley (Tom) Staber , Katie Nungesser , Molly (Joshua) Barnett; four grandchildren Logan, Brody, Clare, and Addie; brother Jerry Barnett; sister Brenda (Dave) Kubicek; Aunt Bonnie Krueger; nieces and nephews Joy, Kaleb, Tyler, Megan, and Landon; and countless friends. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Arlene Barnett, brother Mike Barnett, and son Jimmy (JR) Barnett. Barney’s wish was to be cremated friends and family are welcome to join the celebration of life from 4-7 pm on August 26th, 2018 at Rosie’s Bar and Grill 1501 Center Park Road Lincoln, NE 68512. Kathryn Jo Lahm
Kathryn Jo Lahm, 65, passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska, on July 17, 2018. Kathy was born at Cozad Community Hospital on August 13th, 1952 to Wayne and Doris (Buckley) Koch. She was the youngest of three sisters, and graduated from Cozad High School in 1970. She married Robert Karl Lahm on June 30th, 1970. They had 2 children, Victoria in 1976 and Nicholas in 1979. Kathy and Bob owned and ran the Dairy Queen in Holdrege for a number of years. She also worked at the Phelps County Attorney’s Office in Holdrege before joining Bob at Plains Technology. Kathy also worked at the Sun Theater for many years in the box office and the concession stand. She moved to Lincoln in 2007 to be closer to her children and grandchildren and enjoyed attending the grandkids’ sporting events, dance recitals and concerts. Survivors of the immediate family are daughter Victoria Bush-Lahm and son Nicholas (Mai) Lahm, all of Lincoln. Grandchildren are Samuel, age 16; Mina, age 10; and Rei, age 1. Also surviving are one sister Donna (Dale) Zigler of Phillips, Nebraska; brother-in-law David (Cheryl) Lahm of Cozad; sister-in-law Jean (Randy) Issler of Holdrege; brother-in-law George Cox of Grand Island; nieces and nephews Brenda, Kelly, Joel, Mona, Tony, Brett, Matthew and Nolan; and many great-nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Bob in 2002. Also preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Doris Koch and one sister Carolyn Cox; parents-in-law Mac and Marvelle Lahm; two brothers-in-law; and a niece. Condolences to www.aspenaftercare.com

Dina Rae Truax, age 54, from Lincoln, Nebraska. Dina was born to Robert Gossard Sr. & Virginia (Uribe) Gossard on June 11, 1964 in Casper, Wyoming.
