“Jean” Luella Jean Woodbury

Luella “Jean” Woodbury, 93, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on February 11, 2020. Born January 25, 1927 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Samuel and Doris Hawkins.  Jean had two sons, Thomas Detore and Daniel Detore, with first husband Dominick Detore.  On August 8, 1980, she married the love of her life, Duncombe “Woody” Woodbury in California, where they resided for many years.  Jean had a passion for animals, photography and traveling.

Jean is survived by her son, Tom (Eileen) Detore of Columbia, Missouri; daughter-in-law Rebecca Detore of Lincoln, Nebraska; granddaughters Jennifer (Devin) Reinke  and Shelley (Chad) Lyon, both of Lincoln, Nebraska; brother Lynn (Valerie) Hawkins, of De Smet, South Dakota; and sister-in-law Joan Hawkins of Watertown, South Dakota.  She is also survived by four great grandsons, many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents, husband Woody, son Daniel, and brothers Clayton Hawkins and Donald Hawkins.

Private family memorial service to be held at a later date.

Memorials are requested to Hearts United for Animals of Auburn, Nebraska.

1974 – 2020

Vera Nicole Baklykov, 45, passed away Saturday (2-8-2020). Born 9-27-1974 in Ukraine to Lidya & Nikolay Levtsenyuk. She worked as an Immigration Services Officer at USCIS and was an member of Christ Place Church.

She is survived by her aforementioned mother and father: Lidya and Nikolay Levtsenyuk, two sons: Sergey and Michael Baklykov, three brothers: Aleksander Levtsenyuk, Sergey Levtsenyuk, and Aleksey Levtsenyuk, and four sisters: Tanya Revenkov, Lyuba Ellingson, Nadia Besch, and Natasha Levtsenyuk.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Place Church, 5555 Roose Street in Lincoln.

Marilyn Irene Jones

Marilyn Irene Jones 76, a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister left this world January 28, 2020. She entered this world September 14, 1943 to her parents Richard and Irene Bohaty in Schuyler Ne.

She is survived by her brothers Ronald and Randy Bohaty. Her 2 loving daughters Candace Young and Tamara Croghan and also her son Richard Jones.

The love that Marilyn had for her children was unconditional as well as being a huge Packers fan and her love for horses and food. Through out the years she watched her children grow up to become wonderful strong loving individuals with Big hearts.

Marilyn is also survived by her grandchildren Nathan Young, Wilbur Young and Tara Booton.

We all love Marilyn for the way and who she was. Marilyn was one of a kind and we will never forget all the precious memories and adventures we had with Marilyn. She helped each and everyone of us grow into who we are today. May she Rest In Peace and fly above in heaven with her angel sisters Lorraine and Koreda. Marilyn will forever be in our hearts. We love you.
