January 22nd 1969 – December 15th 2020 Deanna “Nan” Vrana-Carlsward was born January 22nd 1969 and departed this earthly home on December 15th 2020 in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the age of 51. Deanna was born on January 22nd 1969 in Aurora Illinois to Dale Vrana and Margaret “Peggy” (Tuttle) Vrana. She graduated from Northeast High School in 1987. She is survived by her longtime companion, Rick Combs; sons Aaron (Sammy), Zack (Kayla) and Dean; daughter Ashley; father Dale; mother Peggy; brothers Dale Robert (DeEtta) Vrana and Josh Vrana; sisters Valerie (Robert) Phillips, Lauri (Chuck) Addams, Shelley (Jay) Grantski, Kathy Adams, Mari Hoyt; grandchildren which she loved dearly, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Barbara (Carson) Elder
August 18, 1924 – December 11, 2020 Preceded in death by husband John T. Elder, parents James and Meta Carson, sisters Muriel Barns and Mary Beth Carson. Survived by son Bruce Elder (Lisa) of North Andover, MA, Janet Kettler (Richard) of Lincoln, NE, granddaughters Carson, Juliette and Chloe Elder, Madeline and Isabel Kettler, nieces and nephews. Barbara was born in Wessington Springs, SD and graduated from Wessington Springs High School in 1942. She then graduated nursing school at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, IL. She worked as a surgical nurse at hospitals in Rapid City, SD and Seattle, WA. After her marriage Barbara moved to Omaha and finished her career as a nurse for Omaha Public Schools. Michael Whitney Gallagher
Michael Whitney Gallagher, 37, passed away from cancer on November 3, 2020, in Hickory, NC. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Carl Andrew and Linda Ann (Lovgren) Gallagher. Raised by his parents along with his brother, Robert, in Lincoln, NE, Michael attended Hartley Elementary School, Culler Middle School, Lincoln Northeast High School and the Arts and Humanities Focus School his senior year graduating in 2001. He was a four-year competitor on the LNE swim team and swam for the Nebraska Aquatics club team. His early jobs were lifeguarding, waiting tables and bartending. After stops in Minnesota and South Dakota for college, Michael studied Architectural and Engineering Design at Southern Maine Community College before transferring to the Maine College of Art (MECA) in Portland. There he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Woodworking and Furniture and Design. At the North Carolina University Crafts Center in Raleigh, NC, he taught woodworking classes. His furniture making took a turn when a man came into his shop to see if he wanted to do some subcontract work making ball winders for yarn. As time went on, he bought the business, Nancy’s Knit Knacks, then bought Strauch Fiber Equipment and finally, this year, bought Heavenly Handspinning. The three businesses will be his legacy and will continue. Along the way, he also bought and remodeled houses to sell. Those left to cherish his memory and the man with the beautiful blue eyes and the smile that doesn’t end are: his daughter, Aeon Casteel Gallagher of Alexander, NC; his fiancée, Ashley Diane Chapman and her two daughters, Presley and Lily Olson of Newton, NC; parents, Carl Andrew and Linda Ann (Lovgren) Gallagher of Lincoln, NE; brother, Robert Andrew Gallagher (Tammy Ann) of Milford, Ohio; nephew, Caden Andrew Gallagher; nieces, Zoe Mae and Layna Whitney Gallagher, Milford, Ohio; former wife, Tanya Marie Casteel of Alexander, NC; uncles and aunts, John (Nancy) Lovgren of Round Rock, TX, Bob (Linda) Lovgren of Omaha, NE, Roberta Lauderdale of Raytown, MO, Frances (Oscar) Ramirez of Thornton, CO, Stacie (David) Bebber of Edmond, OK and numerous cousins. Larry Eugene Luginbill
From Lincoln, Nebraska Larry Luginbill was born on April 19, 1954 to Ruth and Wayne Luginbill. He passed away and joined his wife Jamie Luginbill on December 7, 2020. Larry was a father to Brian Luginbill, Jeromie Luginbill and Kelly Luginbill. His two biggest fans were his grandchildren Caleb Luginbill and Izabella Andrews. Larry worked at Burlington Northern as a Carman from the age of 19 until he retired at the age of 60. He not only loved working on cars, but enjoyed talking about them for hours. He was a natural protector and worked hard everyday to provide for his family. Passed away on December 7, 2020. He will be greatly missed. Bessie Marie England

Bessie Marie (Reutzel) England age 77 of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away to her Heavenly Home Thursday morning December 3rd, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.
Bess was born August 30th, 1943 in Benkelman, Nebraska to Roy and Doris Reutzel. Bess grew up on a farm in Madrid, Nebraska later the family moved to Grant and then to Ogallala where she attended school, worked, and where she met her husband.
On October 1, 1961 Bess married William C. England and started their family. They later moved to Denver, Colorado where they spent the next several years. The family then returned to Ogallala and later moved to York and finally to Lincoln, Nebraska.
Bess did many things in her life. She worked at a young age at Tastee, babysat, cleaned houses, ran a motel, a greeter at Kmart, a stay at home Mom and volunteered. She was a PEACEMAKER! She always had a smile on her face and she loved to laugh. She cared so much about people.
Bess enjoyed playing cards, board games, dice, scrabble, Rook, Words with Friends, playing pool, playing the accordion, and witnessing for God. Her favorite hobby was spending time with her family and her devotion to the Lord.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Gary of Lincoln, Bill Jr. and Elisa of Crete, and Troy and Teresa of Lincoln. She had 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by brothers, Bill and Jody Reutzel of Ogallala and Roy and Sue Reutzel of Paxton, sisters Bonnie and Eldon Kokes of Grand Island, and Nila Irwin of Lincoln, sisters-in-law Peggy Reutzel of Ovid, Colorado, Grace England of Union City, California, and Wilma Shockey of Denver Colorado and extended family and friends too numerous to name.
She was preceded in death by her spouse of 51 years William C, England of Lincoln, an infant son, Randy England of Denver, daughter-in-law Karen England of Lincoln, by her parents, Roy Reutzel of Grand Island, and Doris Edwards of Ogallala, 3 stepfathers Buster (Buck) Lovenburg, Howard (Howie) Irwin, and Charles (Charlie) Edwards of Ogallala, her fathers-in-law William F. England of Denver, Colorado and Woodrow (Curley) of Ogallala mother-in-law Eileen Lovell of Lincoln and a brother Richard (Dick) Reutzel of Ovid, Colorado, brother-in-law Harold Irwin of Lincoln and other extended family.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Calvary Chapel, 415 North 66th Street, Suite 7 in Lincoln, Nebraska on December 19, 2020 at 1 PM CDT with Pastor Dennis Waddelow officiating. Due to COVID19 masks will be required.
A memorial fund has been established in her memory. Memorials are in care of the family for future designation.
Final resting place here on Earth will be at Wyuka Cemetery with a private ceremony.
