Larry Eugene Luginbill

Larry Luginbill was born on April 19, 1954 to Ruth and Wayne Luginbill. He passed away and joined his wife Jamie Luginbill on December 7, 2020.

Larry was a father to Brian Luginbill, Jeromie Luginbill and Kelly Luginbill. His two biggest fans were his grandchildren Caleb Luginbill and Izabella Andrews.

Larry worked at Burlington Northern as a Carman from the age of 19 until he retired at the age of 60. He not only loved working on cars, but enjoyed talking about them for hours.

He was a natural protector and worked hard everyday to provide for his family.

Passed away on December 7, 2020.

He will be greatly missed.

Bessie Marie England

Bessie Marie (Reutzel) England age 77 of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away to her Heavenly Home Thursday morning December 3rd, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.

Bess was born August 30th, 1943 in Benkelman, Nebraska to Roy and Doris Reutzel. Bess grew up on a farm in Madrid, Nebraska later the family moved to Grant and then to Ogallala where she attended school, worked, and where she met her husband.

On October 1, 1961 Bess married William C. England and started their family. They later moved to Denver, Colorado where they spent the next several years. The family then returned to Ogallala and later moved to York and finally to Lincoln, Nebraska.

Bess did many things in her life. She worked at a young age at Tastee, babysat, cleaned houses, ran a motel, a greeter at Kmart, a stay at home Mom and volunteered. She was a PEACEMAKER! She always had a smile on her face and she loved to laugh. She cared so much about people.

Bess enjoyed playing cards, board games, dice, scrabble, Rook, Words with Friends, playing pool, playing the accordion, and witnessing for God. Her favorite hobby was spending time with her family and her devotion to the Lord.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Gary of Lincoln, Bill Jr. and Elisa of Crete, and Troy and Teresa of Lincoln. She had 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by brothers, Bill and Jody Reutzel of Ogallala and Roy and Sue Reutzel of Paxton, sisters Bonnie and Eldon Kokes of Grand Island, and Nila Irwin of Lincoln, sisters-in-law Peggy Reutzel of Ovid, Colorado, Grace England of Union City, California, and Wilma Shockey of Denver Colorado and extended family and friends too numerous to name.

She was preceded in death by her spouse of 51 years William C, England of Lincoln, an infant son, Randy England of Denver, daughter-in-law Karen England of Lincoln, by her parents, Roy Reutzel of Grand Island, and Doris Edwards of Ogallala, 3 stepfathers Buster (Buck) Lovenburg, Howard (Howie) Irwin, and Charles (Charlie) Edwards of Ogallala, her fathers-in-law William F. England of Denver, Colorado and Woodrow (Curley) of Ogallala mother-in-law Eileen Lovell of Lincoln and a brother Richard (Dick) Reutzel of Ovid, Colorado, brother-in-law Harold Irwin of Lincoln and other extended family.

A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Calvary Chapel, 415 North 66th Street, Suite 7 in Lincoln, Nebraska on December 19, 2020 at 1 PM CDT with Pastor Dennis Waddelow officiating. Due to COVID19 masks will be required.

A memorial fund has been established in her memory. Memorials are in care of the family for future designation.

Final resting place here on Earth will be at Wyuka Cemetery with a private ceremony.

Frances “Fran” Lorine Follett

1947 – 2020

Fran L. Follett was born in 1947 in Boonville, Missouri the daughter of Dewitt and Berniece Cline and passed away from this earth peacefully at Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska on November 25, 2020 at the age of 72.

Fran was raised in Beatrice, Nebraska, the oldest of three sisters. She attended high school in Beatrice and college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

In Fran’s personal mission statement she says that “At the end of my life I want to be able to say I gave everything I had to give.” And indeed, she did. On top of being a loving mother and wife, throughout her life Fran always kept busy working and volunteering.

While attending college in Lincoln, Nebraska she worked at Back to the Bible. She met and later married Jerry Follett there and moved to McCook, Nebraska where they raised their two boys. In McCook, she worked as a sales associate at JC Penney’s and as an office assistant at McCook National Bank. She also volunteered as an Awana leader at the McCook Evangelical Free Church and as a member of the local Sheriff’s Posse.

Fran and Jerry moved back to Lincoln where she worked as an insurance rater at Continental Western Group. Then she retired and they moved to York, Nebraska to be closer to family.

Throughout this time, Fran volunteered for the CASA organization, where she gave children a voice in the court system and for Sertoma, where she helped people in need. Fran was also a woman of deep Christian faith and traveled overseas to the countries of Romania and Uganda to teach and witness to people.

At home, Fran was a voracious reader, tearing through two novels a week, and loved putting puzzles together and playing games with her children and grandchildren.

Fran was preceded in death by her two parents Dewitt and Berniece Cline and is survived by her husband Jerry Follett of York, Nebraska, her son Jeremiah Follett of San Francisco, California, her son and daughter-in-law Josh Follett and Sarah Follett of York, her grandchildren Zeke and Tirzah Follett of York, and her two sisters, Marlene Cline of Lincoln, Nebraska and Kathy Scribner of Fairbury, Nebraska.

A memorial will take place virtually on Friday, Dec 11th courtesy of York Berean Church. For details about how to join visit www.yorkberean.org.

Larry Elmer Fenton

Born on July 27, 1939. Age 81.

Passed away on November 29, 2020.

Larry was born July 27, 1939 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Elmer and Helen (Luth) Fenton. Larry worked for Don Wilson Motors, Roe Buick and Fairacres Dairy. Larry moved to Lincoln in 1994. Larry then worked for Bellows and LaMar Outdoor Advertising for 30 years, retiring in 2001. Larry was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

He was preceded in death by his son Larry Lee Fenton, his parents, and his step father Herbert Shipman.

Larry is survived by his wife of 26 years Eleanor; his children Mark (Allison) Fenton of Albuquerque, New Mexico, daughter Kimberly (Brad) Arnold of St. Paul, Nebraska; stepchildren, Crystal (Gene) Rosenberry of Lincoln, Sondra (Mark) Mitchell of Kansas City, Missouri, and Neil Grabowski of Lincoln; sisters Karen (Vergil) Flodman of Eagle, Nebraska, and Beverly Freudenreich of Maine; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Memorials to the family.  Services will be delayed until next spring.
