In 1984 their family would move back to Lincoln, Nebraska. Chris was dedicated to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church by Pastor Terry Bock in 1987. One of Chris’s favorite pastimes was going camping with his brother and other friends and traveling anywhere he could. Chris loved visiting museums and taking any opportunity to learn and expand his mind. Chris and Nate were avid gamers, many times playing different video games right next to each other. Chris was constantly reading as a kid and as an adult he would always try to read the book before going to see the movie version.

Chris always stood up for what he believed in and he was a staunch supporter of doing the right thing and protecting those who needed it.
