Betty F. Robinson

Betty Robinson was born February 21, 1947, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.  She went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in Lincoln, Nebraska.  She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Helen Parker and her granddaughter Jessica Tylor Lais.  She is survived by her husband Jack Robinson, daughters Jean Lais (David), Rachel Heston (Caleb), son Shawn Robinson, grandchildren Nikita Robinson, Britnie Lais Hoyle, Patrick Heston, Erin Lais, Samuel Heston, and great-grandchildren Avery Hoyle, Jaylee Hoyle, and Steven Tylor Hoyle.

She lived in five different countries, the United States, Germany, Scotland, Poland, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  She had the privilege of visiting 20 additional countries: Canada, Mexico, England, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary, Italy, The Vatican, Portugal, Jordan, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Thailand.

She was an ardent collector of Precious Moments figurines.

She was a supporter of the American Cancer Society through her work with Relay For Life and the Road To Recovery patient support program. In 2022 she was awarded the first American Cancer Society Patient Support Volunteer Award for Excellence for 2021.

Her love of young children and her desire to teach them the love of Christ led her to be a Nursery worker and Sunday School teacher for over 50 years.  She was a tireless worker with the Good News Club at Kahoa Elementary School for 17 years.

The Memorial Service in her honor will be Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 10:30 at Citylight North Church, 2600 N 70th Street, Lincoln, NE 68507. The service for Betty will be live streamed at www.citylightnorthlincoln.org.

Marcia Louise Bobert

Passed away September 21, 2022.

Marcia Bobert was born on September 10, 1948 in Geneva NE. She graduated from Aquinas High School in David City, NE. Marcia lived a quiet life and was very selfless and helped anyone in need.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Theresa Kelch, brother, Glenn Kelch, sister-in-law, Carol Kelch, and special friend, Tom Chavez.

She is survived by sisters, Sheila (Bob) Smith, Dee Kelch, Kate (Rick) Drapal, all of Lincoln, and Marilyn Bobert of Columbus, NE. Step daughters, Denise Fox, Diana Sanchez, Debbie Perez, & Dora Corral, all of California, and many nieces and nephews.

Sharon Elizabeth Lebsack

Sharon Elizabeth Lebsack passed away September 17, 2022 in Lincoln, NE. Sharon was born to William and Elizabeth Fisher on November 8, 1946 in Alton, Illinois. She graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School where she met the love of her life, David Lebsack. Sharon and Dave were married September 24, 1964 and enjoyed 48 wonderful years together until his passing in 2012. Before her retirement, Sharon was an office manager for Holmes Lake Family Medicine, but her true life’s work was being a caregiver. Her generosity touched many lives and she found great joy in caring for others, especially her grandchildren. Sharon’s world revolved around her family and their activities and she also enjoyed being a member of St. David’s Episcopal Church, Husker volleyball, Elvis, her beloved terriers, and chocolate! We will dearly miss her unconditional love and support, incredible selflessness and that infectious laugh.

Sharon is survived by her children Lindy Bonnett (Doug), Scott Lebsack (Christie), grandchildren Haley Lebsack (David), Amera Nix(Josh), Seth Leybold, sisters Mary Finayev (Alexander), Malissa Brown (Ronnie), brother Richard Fisher(Vickie), sister-in-law Judy Hoy, great-grandchildren Leighton, Lyra, Jay, Evynn, Mila, Harlynn, nieces and nephews Gayle, Tammie, Mike, Mark, Craig, Caleb, Josh, Jason, Matt and numerous other relatives and friends who loved her. The family also wishes to express our sincerest thanks to the Legacy Arbors and HoriSun Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.

Memorial service at 10:00am Saturday, October 15 at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 8800 Holdrege, Lincoln, NE. Memorials to St. David’s or to an organization you think would be meaningful to Sharon.

Betty “BJ” Jean Hergott

Betty Jean (BJ) Hergott, daughter of Donald and Geraldine Hergott, was born on April 3rd, 1960 in Hebron, Nebraska.  On September 17, 2022 she died at Premier Estates, in Pawnee City, Nebraska at the age of 62 years, 5 months, and 14 days.

She received the Sacrament of Baptism, First Holy Communion and the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria, Nebraska, and Graduated from Meridian High School in Daykin, Nebraska.

She worked for Federal Reserve Bank in Omaha, Nebraska, American Coastal Cotton (ACC) Manassas, Virginia and a Stain Glass Windows Company located in Front Royal, Virginia.  Retired to Beatrice Nebraska where she enjoyed skydiving and video gaming.

Betty (BJ) is survived by her brothers and sisters: Lawrence (Bernice) Hergott, Donna Osterhoudt, Patricia Payvandi, Allen (Minh) Hergott, William (Susan) Hergott, (Kayla) Hergott, Anthony (Laurie) Hergott, Wayne (Dianne) Hergott and many nephews and nieces.  She is proceeded in death by her parents Donald and Geraldine Hergott, brother Gary Hergott, and brother-in-law Stanley Osterhoudt.

There will be no funeral services.
