Wilhelm “Wild Bill” Julius Helmstadter

Wilhelm “Wild Bill” Helmstadter, 62, of Lincoln, passed away February 1, 2018. One of ten children born to Donald & JoAnn Helmstadter, April 4, 1955.

Bill’s careers spanned from painter and car salesman to finally carpet installer. Working up to his last day, only taking a short break to battle and beat cancer. When Bill wasn’t working, he enjoyed everything outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping. He also loved spending time with family and friends, reminiscing about the good ole days.

Preceded in death by his parents, Don & JoAnn; sister, Kathy; ex-wife, Barbara; partner, Jenny. He is survived by his children and their spouses; Shane Helmstadter & Dawn Brunke; Emma and Adam Thorne; Rachael Robinette & Tommy Ray; 3 granddaughters; Lillian, Aubrey and Harper; brothers; Don, David, Robert, and Michael; sisters; Carla, Cindi, Pam and Kim; many nieces and nephews; countless friends.

Cremation.  No visitation. Celebration of Life, Saturday, March 3, 2018, 4pm-7pm. Arnold’s Tavern, 6113 Havelock Ave, Lincoln, NE 68507. Please come and have a drink and share a story about Wild Bill! Come and go as you please!

Clarence Calvin Harris

Clarence Calvin “Junior” Harris, died at age 90, on Sunday, January 28, 2018, in Lincoln. Born August 27, 1927, he was preceded in death by parents, Clarence Jackson & Rose (Coy) Harris, brother Robert, wife Lydia, and son Clarence Jr (Lucky). Clarence served in the Army and retired from Cushman Motors after 40 years.

Clarence is survived by two sisters Arlene Large and JoAnn (Arlo) Reed; two children Sharon Miller & Byron Harris; seven grandchildren Jennifer, Stacy, Corey, Clarence III (Lucky Jr), Jeremiah, Shawn & Justin.

Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at 5831 Enterprise Drive in Lincoln.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Disabled American Vets, Chapter 7.

Sharon Hayes, 74, Lincoln.  Passed away peacefully Sunday, January 7, 2018.

Sharon was a very devoted wife and loving mother not only to her kids and husband but to all of the Great Pyrenees they rescued.  Sharon and Dave were the coordinators of Great Pyrenees Rescue of the Midwest.  Sharon touched the hearts of everyone she knew.  Our sweet, soft spoken angel has now started her new journey with Dave.

Sharon is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Greg & Jane, Chris & Valarie; and her grandkids Christopher, Amber & Hunter.

Cremation.  No visitation.  Gathering of family and friends at a later date.
