Bess Hardcastle Hanff
Bess Hardcastle Hanff, 70, of Lincoln, went home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2021. Bess was loved dearly and will be missed by many. She loved the Lord with all her heart and we find comfort that we will one day be reunited. Bess was preceded in death by her parents, William and Goldie and her sisters, Mary, Dorthy, and Helen . Bess was a dedicated and loving mother and nana. She is survived by her daughter, Alissa (Danny); and her 5 grandchildren plus an additional blessing due mid February; her sister Billie; and niece Edwina; and her ex husband Alan (Myrene). She was married to Dean LeRoy Hile her high school sweetheart for 58 years until his death in 2008. Over the years they had lived in Lincoln, Lancaster, PA, and Arizona. She moved back to Lincoln after marrying John Swindle. Survivors: daughters and spouses, Pam Hile, Roxie Harris (Jim), Suzy Hile (Jim Dennis); grandchildren and spouses: Matt Dennis (Aja); Justin Dennis (Jessica); Chris Dennis; Sara Dennis Bristoll (Mike); Jennifer Harris Meixell (Andy); Angie Harris; great grandchildren; Caroline Meixell and Jackson Bristoll; brother-in-law and spouse: Larry Hile (Jan); many nieces, nephews & cousins.
