William “Bill” L. Griffith
Born on April 9, 1942. Passed away on July 30, 2023. Bill was born April 9, 1942 in Omaha. He married Kathee (Kinney) on August 31, 1962. They had 3 children Scott, Tori and Wade. He retired after 22 years at Molex but continued working part time at New Horizons Dental Lab for 10 years. He is survived by his wife Kathee, daughters in law Kim Griffith and Sharman Griffith, step father Harold Fauth, grandchildren Nick, Caitlin and Connor Griffith and great granddaughter Amelia, and sisters in law Pat Kinney and Robin Pearson. Preceded in death by children Scott, Tori and Wade and grandson Erik Griffith. Celebration Of Life to be held Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Patty’s Pub; 311 North Cotner. Steven J. Garrison
Steven James Garrison born October 23rd 1962 in Lincoln Nebraska to Dennis and Karen Garrison. Passed away on June 1st 2023. Steven spent nearly 40 years employed by the University of Nebraska before retiring in 2022. Steven was preceeded in death by his mother Karen Garrison, and father Dennis Garrison. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Tammy Garrison of Lincoln, Son Aaron Garrison of Crete, daughter Jennifer Tucker of Lincoln, Grand daughters Ellie and Zoe, and grandsons Cain, Harley, Landon, Cody and Bubba (Aaron), and his loving pets, his dog Poco and his cat Meow Meow. Lawrence Hugh Gavre
Lawrence Hugh Gavre “Larry”, 81, died peacefully on April 18th 2023, at his home in Lincoln. He was born in Eau Claire, WI on May 25th 1941 to Mr. Alex and Evelyn Gavre. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed helping others. As a young man, he was an active member of the Civil Air Patrol and in the Ham Radio Club. Larry joined the AirForce as an engine mechanic; while stationed at Lincoln Air Base, he met his lovely wife, Barbara Gavre. He worked at Cushman for 30 years. His interests included carpentry, working on cars, hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with loved ones. Larry was survived by his spouse Barbara of 60 years; children Lawrence Lee (Leah) Gavre and Steven Ray (Melissa) Gavre; brother Bernard Gavre, Nancy Hoag, and Vicki Gavre. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Roxanne Gavre, and son Anthony Gavre. Funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lincoln, NE on May 1st 2023.
