Raymond Eugene Crouse
From Lincoln, Nebraska Born on February 22, 1946 Passed away on April 5, 2020. Raymond Crouse, 74, passed away at home surrounded by family. He was born on his family farm south of Bloomington, NE to George and Marie Crouse. After school he moved to Lincoln and went to work at ADM for 39 years when he retired. September 17, 2001 he married the love of his life, Deb, and lived in Lincoln until moving to Bennet for ten years. He worked part time for the Village for several years before moving back to Lincoln. Survived by wife Deb, brothers Harold, Delbert and sister Myrtle. There are four women in his life that he considered his daughters. Angie Roby who is actually his niece and three step daughters; Alisa, Joey, and Sarah. All four he referred to as “my girls”. He also had many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and loving friends. Preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Francis, George, and Clifford, and his little sister Susan. Memorial Service on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Bennet Community Church in Bennet, Nebraska. Memorials to the family for future designation. “Butch” Gernon Dale Crider
Gernon (“Butch”) Dale Crider – September 16, 1950 – June 27, 2020 Butch was born at home in Eminence, Missouri to Austin George and Rosetta D. (Dorow) Crider. Butch grew up in the back-woods around Eminence and graduated Eminence High School in 1968. Later his work led him to Imperial, Nebraska, near where his grandparents had lived and his mom was raised when she was younger. During Butch’s working years, he travelled extensively with work at Western Well & Pump in Imperial, Nebraska. To be closer to home to Marilyn and kids, he also worked for many years at Terryberry Farms with Marilyn’s brothers in Imperial. Family was important to Butch. He always kept in touch with his family. He called everyone – brothers, sisters, and his kids, weekly. And he was always a practical joker and loved to be ornery, it was his life’s mission, up to the end; he liked to make people smile and laugh. Butch was married to Sarah Baldwin and is survived by their daughter, Kathy Crider. Later Butch made his life with Marilyn K. Iverson of Imperial, Nebraska and raised 6 children, Jerome Iverson and wife, Anne, of Lincoln, Nebraska; Marie Iverson of Dallas, Texas; Theresa Schilke and husband, John, of Imperial, Nebraska; Raquel Ball and husband, Danny, of Norman, Oklahoma; David Iverson and wife, Jennifer, of North Platte, Nebraska; and, Jason Iverson, and his wife, Kristin, of Fort Worth, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister Donna Bilbrey of House Springs, Missouri; sister Carol Dizmang, of Wauneta, Nebraska; sister Marilyn Neal of Jefferson City, Missouri ; sister Shirley Trogdon of Mount Vernon, Missouri; brother Charles Crider (Beverly) of House Springs, Missouri; brother Jerry Crider of Eminence, Missouri; brother Paul Crider (Terry) of Highlandville, Missouri; brother Keith Crider of Galena, Missouri, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Butch is preceded in death by Marilyn Iverson; his parents; his brothers, Marvin and Leroy; sisters, Nada, Rhonda, and Rena, and great-grandchild, Avery. A graveside service will be held in Imperial, Nebraska at a later date. A memorial has been suggested to Theresa Schilke family in Butch’s memory. Condolences may be left using the form below.

Lanta “Claudine” Ceballos
Claudine Emry Ceballos passed away early Friday morning, June 12, 2020. She was born June 21, 1938 at Panama, Nebraska to L.K. and Norma (Gardner) Emry. The family moved to Lincoln when she was a small child and she lived the rest of her life in Lincoln and then on an acreage near Waverly. Claudine’s surviving family members are her husband Gil Ceballos of Waverly; daughter Kris Jeffries of Lincoln; son Michael Jeffries (wife, Pia Zadora) of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren Dallas Wenz of Lincoln, Mike Jeffries, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, Elysha Crane Nettleton (Jonathan) of Redlands, CA; great granddaughters Carolyn Schultz of Pohattan, KS; Kaily, Aria and Lilah Nettleton of Redlands, CA; sisters: Kathi Emry Vontz and Mary Emry of Lincoln; brother, Randy Emry of Douglas; nieces Randi Emry-Peery (Clark)and Kelly Muthersbaugh (Alan) and nephew, Cary Gerner (Janet) many extended family members and close friends. The non-human loves of her life were her horses. She attended grade school and junior high school at Havelock and graduated from high school at Northeast, class of 1956. She then attended and graduated from cosmetology school. Claudine will be missed and remembered always by all of her family and her longest friend, Margaret Todd. Due to Covid-19 there will be a celebration of life at a later time. Memorial Mass, Monday June 22, at 1:00 pm. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 6111 Morrill Avenue in Lincoln. Scott Alan Carpenter
Scott Alan Carpenter, 54, peacefully passed away Thursday, May 21st at his home in Pickrell, Nebraska. Scott was a graduate of Milford High School Class of 1984. Dixie Lee Carr
May 26, 1933 – May 13, 2020 Dixie L Carr passed away on May 13, 2020. Dixie graduated from Lincoln High School and attended the University of Nebraska. Dixie was a life long farm wife. She was an active church and school volunteer and a long time member on the election service committee in Lincoln. Dixie established and enjoyed operating a preschool day care business for many years. She liked to travel and see new places. Most of all Dixie loved to take care of her family. Her wisdom, strength and love will be greatly missed. Dixie is survived by sons Joe Carr (Ingrid), Lincoln, and Rick Carr, Eagle. She was preceded in death by husband Richard Carr, son John Carr, parents Bill & Velma Bartu, sister Mary Meyer (Woody), niece Jane Meyer, brother Milo Bartu (Esther).
