Condolences for Timothy Charles Baker
You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race my friend. After all the suffering you have endured, may you be rejoicing at the eternal banquet free of bodily pain. AGA was lucky to have you as a statesman, a volunteer, a national treasurer, an instructor, and a mentor. I was lucky to know you as a friend and am a better person for it. Your spirit lives on in many a heart.
Sorry for your loss to the family of Mr. Baker. Sending Prayers and condolences to you. I learned a lot from his AGA trainings and wished our local chapter would of been bigger for him to help is continue.
Tim Baker was a wonderful human being. I met Tim when he became National Treasurer-Elect of the Association of Government Accountants. He was a very warm, caring and awesome individual who showed compassion and understanding to all he met. Over the years, especially during and after his term as National Treasurer, we spoke frequently about the financial status of the entity and about family and friends. I can truly call him my friend and I consider being truly blessed for having known him. May God bless him and his family. Sincerely, Evelyn Brown, AGA Past National President and Past National Treasurer.
Deepest condolences to your family. I am so grateful for your welcoming presence each time we met at PDT and other AGA events. You made everyone feel special. You will be missed.
My husband & I are saddened to learn of Tim’s passing. He was such a vital part of the government financial management community through his involvement with AGA. He was an inspiration with his enthusiasm. Our San Antonio chapter was revitalizing, & Tim ensured that everyone in the region was aware of our training events – for our small chapter with 30-40 members, we were able to reach an additional 60-70 people from 12 different states virtually! And in person, he was the an instant friend. He will truly be missed. May he rest in peace.
Tim Baker will be missed. I enjoyed talking with him at the AGA events. He was genuinely interested in what each person had to say. Sending prayers to his family.
