Scott loved his family very much. He was a dog lover with a huge heart. I had the privilege of knowing him since grade school. My prayers go out to his family.

Scott was like a big brother to me. Growing up in Bethany, he lived a few houses over. One of my best friends was his sister Tori – who now has also passed. The whole Griffith family has left a huge imprint on my heart and my heart aches for those left behind. Kathy, Bill and Wade – you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Also prayers to Kim and the boys as you navigate through this tough time in your lives.

    RIP Scott.
I will always remember and cherish the memories of when we lived across the street from each other on 70th and sitting on your porch with me, you and Wade and you playing all of our favorite rock n roll on your guitar and singing. It became a nightly ritual in the summertime every year and I really enjoyed it and will never forget.
Wade, Kathy and Bill, I’m so very sorry for your loss and you all and your family will be in my thoughts n prayers and my mom’s as well. I told her about Scott’s passing this morning.
    In Deepest Sympathy,
    The Ellis Family

I’m so sorry for your loss. To lose one child is unbearable, to lose two.. there are no words. Scott was always such a joy to be around, so glad I had the chance to know him, & call him my friend. Prayers for your family

I was friends with Tori and Wade. Scott was two grades ahead of me. I remember him chewing key and playing the guitar. I saw him as a big friendly outgoing respectable man. I am sorry for your great loss.

I was so young when “us kids” met that I don’t remember a time that he hasn’t been part of my life even when I hadn’t seen him for a few years- he was like a second big brother. And even in the past few years he would greet me at the store and a few times we had long and meaningful talks. His words and kindness will always stay with me and guide me. During these talks he would light up whenever we spoke of his parents, his wife and children (the last we spoke he was excited about taking Kim on the vacation of her dreams so I hope that one day Kim, you will take that trip), his Sister- ohhh, how he missed her, his Brother (and he chuckled thinking of Wade’s Grandchild and how wonderful Wade is with her) and his Grandparents… Scott was a man of honor and this is a huge and true loss for his family, friends and world. I pray that after he and Tori get caught up that they both continue to guide all of us through this maze we call life. It won’t be the same without Scott but may we all continue to carry on his light. Love and hugs to his family.
