August 24, 1946 – October 28, 2026

Robert D. Randall, 80, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Lincoln on August 24, 1946, Robert was the son of Robert V. Randall and Mildred “Mili” Randall. He grew up in the community he would call home for his entire life, carrying with him a deep appreciation for family, loyalty, and quiet perseverance.

Robert married Cathy L. Barger on February 3, 1967. Together they shared many years and raised two sons, Jeffery R. Randall and J. Todd Randall, who were the pride of his life. Later, Robert found love again with Tammy A. Maxwell, with whom he built a warm and blended family. Through this marriage, he welcomed Tammy’s sons, Nathan Maxwell and Nickolas Maxwell, embracing them as his own.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert V. Randall; his mother, Mildred “Mili” Baker; his son, Jeffery R. Randall; and his mother’s 2nd husband, Don E. Baker. Their memories remained a guiding presence throughout his life.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Tammy A. Randall; his son, J. Todd Randall, and daughter‑in‑law Theresa Randall; his grandson, Ben Randall, who brought him immense joy; and Tammy’s sons, Nathan Maxwell and Nickolas Maxwell, whom he cherished deeply. Robert’s family was the center of his world, and he took great pride in the bonds they shared.

Robert will be remembered for his steady nature, his quiet strength, and the deep care he showed to those around him. He had a soft spot for animals—especially cats—and a lifelong compassion for people in need. His kindness was often expressed not through grand gestures but through the small, consistent acts that defined his character.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Cat House (Kill Free Cat Sanctuary) or The City Mission, organizations that reflect Robert’s generous spirit and his commitment to helping others.

Robert’s life was one of love, resilience, and devotion. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will be carried forward by all who knew and loved him.
