featured image

In loving memory of  Patti Alexander

01/29/1945  –  05/30/2019

A wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and great friend who will be missed by so many.

Patti was a resident of Lincoln, Nebraska at the time of passing. She is formerly from Paramount, California and originally from Athol, Massachusetts.

Patti was President of the American Legion Post 134 in Paramount, California. She loved to golf with the Lions Club. When she moved to Nebraska, she became an avid Husker fan as well. She loved to play bingo on the weekend and she loved spending time with her kids. She loved getting manicures and pedicures. She looked forward to time with the grand kids, and of course the great grand kids.

Patti loved her independence when living at Burke Plaza with her friends and being a senior companion in the community. She loved helping people out. Her and friends at Burke loved doing puzzles and watching the Huskers play football together. She just loved people.

Preceded by parents George and Elizabeth (Pratt) Purrington and brother William Purrington.

Surviving family includes her son Melvin “Mel” Alexander; and daughters Elizabeth Sarvat, Leona Selby and Teresa Connor;  sisters Rita MacLean and Barbara Budzinski; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; & countless friends.

Celebration of Patti’s life was on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Burke Plaza, 6721 L Street in Lincoln.
