Patricia Ruth Dyer

Patricia Ruth Dyer, 95, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away peacefully April 6, 2026.
Born February 28, 1931, in Lincoln to Geroge and Goldie Hansen, she attended Northeast High School and worked as a receptionist for various companies. Patricia married Lewis W. Ross and later Jack Dyer. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Sherry Ubben (Loren), and Lewis W. Ross Jr.; grandchildren, Kristy Siegl (Joe), Jason, Jeremy, and Jessica Powers, Sierra McCrary (Will) and their daughter Hazel, and Landon Powers and Destynee Powers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronald Hansen; husbands, Lewis W. Ross Sr. and Jack Dyer; daughter, Vickie Ross; daughter-in-law, Jean Ross; and Joey (husband of Jessica Powers).
Patty was a fun-loving, sociable, and caring woman who enjoyed camping, friends, cats, and chocolate–believing dessert should come first.
Private family graveside service will be held April 24, 2026, at Wyuka Cemetery.

Pat went to school with my mom Wanda (Barnhill) Ebben. π
Her daughter Vicki Lynn Ross (died of cancer in 2003 π). We were best friends all through school. I always loved seeing Pat. It was always heartening. I loved her and I will miss these two delightful ladies.
