I worked with Norm at Commonwealth from 1980 until I retired in 2016. We had offices next to each other and Norm would come to me to help him spell and look up things. We were good friends and also shared birthdays for many years; his on the 14th and mine on the 15th. We often had birthday celebrations at work together and with Glen Moss and others with November birthdays. I loved hearing his stories of WW11 and know that he struggled in later years with hard memories of the war. I moved to Kansas after retirement and wasn’t able to keep in touch with him. Know that I respected and liked Norm and will miss him.

I had the privilege’s and honor to work with Norm, but I was especially proud to call him my friend. When I first started at Commonwealth I was asked if I had met Norm yet, Had me a little concerned, but once he found out I was former sailor, it was smooth sailing from then on. I went on many road trips with him and loved listening to his stories. He was one of a kind and I’m sadden that we lost a great man. I wish I could give him a final salute. Rest in peace my friend.

Liz and I are so sorry to hear of Norms passing. I worked with Pinky at Commonwealth Electric Company the the midwest for nearly 3 decades. Norm was one of a kind! I will miss him! Thinking of the entire Stentz family.
