Michael Anthony McGill
Michael Anthony McGill was born on December 12, 1956 and drew his last breath on July 4, 2024 after courageously facing the challenges of Parkinson’s disease for many years. Michael dedicated his career to the Lincoln Public Schools working his way up Supervisor of food service distribution until he had to retire due to his disease. His celebration of life reception will be held on July 20, 2024 at the Roca Community Center from 1-3pm. 15545 B Street Roca, NE.
Michael was born to Robert and Linda McGill in Pueblo, CO and was raised with his three siblings Janet Baker, Kevin McGill (and his wife Lori) and Cara Hall. He shared 46 years with his wife Diana Lynn McGill, filled with joy, laughter and countless adventures, including unforgettable Halloween celebrations and concerts. Their daughter Lalena Morse (and son in law Chad), were a crucial part of their journey. Many of their life adventures included nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
He had a natural talent for making people smile, whether it was through his juggling talents, a motorcycle ride or his quick wit. He loved all things western, his belt buckle and his hats. He cherished spending time with family and friends and was an avid animal lover. He played a vital role in his daughter’s life and later, his grandchildren and great grandchildren’s lives, leaving a lasting impact on the next generations and everyone that got to be a part of his life. He will be dearly missed by all and forever remembered.
