Marilyn R. Flinn

Marilyn Rene Flinn, age 81, of Lincoln NE, after a faithful life bringing joy and love to all she met, went to meet her Jesus, December 3rd, 2024.

Marilyn was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend, Aunt and neighbor; she fiercely loved her family and friends. A long-time member of Radiant Church, Marilyn walked with God, loved her church and her church family.

Marilyn was born November 3, 1943 in Sterling, Colorado. She was one of 12 children, born to Tyle Hembry and Lillian Schopp. On April 8, 1962 she married Richard Flinn, and from this union, brought two daughters into their lives, Sheryl Flinn Roberts (Joe) of Lincoln and Peggy Flinn also from Lincoln.

Marilyn enjoyed a career working in the local hospital, a daycare, and the banking system before retirement. She continued to volunteer at Tabitha Healthcare, and visited those without families, plus delivered Meals On Wheels.

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday December 17, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Radiant Church: 740 N. 70th Street in Lincoln. Light lunch reception to follow.
