Leonard was such a dear sweet man of the lord. The first day I attended he greeted and hugged me. My wife and I had the great pleasure of sitting in the pew in front of him. He was always singing the lords praises. After my wife passed I continued to sit there and Leonard always would ask how I was doing and tell me he loved me. He will be missed, he is with the lord and his beloved Vera Gene now. Loved that man deeply.

We meet Leonard and Vera Gene when our middle daughter rented an apartment from them. Leaving our daughter to start college all by herself was so much easier because we knew she had the Hills as her Lincoln grandparents. They were the sweetest most caring people. My youngest daughter loved to visit them. Leonard always had a new state quarter for her. We even got to stay with them at their cabin\house in MN. Enjoy your reunion with your sweet Vera Gene.

Dear friends, You have my heartfelt condolences at the loss of Leonard. What a dear saint of God! I am so thankful I had the privilege of becoming acquainted with him over the past year and a half. His love for God was so evident in the enthusiastic way he sang. And his obvious love for people was demonstrated in the way he interacted with everybody who walked by. I will miss his warm smile and gentle teasing, and yet rejoice with you knowing that the day he died was the day he truly began to LIVE! And like you, I look forward to seeing him again in God’s Forever Kingdom.
