Lanore Alma Saltzman, born Lanore Alma Walsh to James and Alma Walsh in Anderson, Indiana, passed away on November 30, 2025, in Lincoln, NE, at the age of 79. She was a devoted wife and mother of three children.
Lanore (Walsh) married (late) Timothy “Tim” Saltzman in 1968 in Lincoln, NE. She and Tim had three children; Richard (1970), Damon (1975), and (late) Heidi Saltzman (1978).
Lanore was an introvert and often kept to herself until she got to know you. Lanore was known for her infectious laughter and her many passions. She was an avid reader… loved horror movies and music of many genres. Lanore adapted to the times and adopted technology with ease. She was a fierce advocate for the underprivileged, dedicating her life to helping others and standing up for what was right. Her strength, joy, and vibrant spirit touched everyone who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date… tentatively Spring 2026. The family invites friends and loved ones to join in honoring Lanore’s memory when details are announced on her FACEBOOK.
