Kevin D. Hildebrand
Kevin D. Hildebrand 67 of Lincoln NE passed away on August 11, 2026. He was born July 27, 1959, in Lincoln to Carroll and Virginia (Shirey) Hildebrand.
Kevin is survived by his sisters, Carol Lynn Turner, Kris Hildebrand, and Kary Bachenberg. His brothers Mike (Jean) Hildebrand, Patrick Hildebrand, and Scott Hildebrand and his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Virginia. His sister Leslie, his brother Philip, and his son Weylin.
Kevin was a longtime resident of Havelock. He attended Northeast High. He was a long-time employee at Havelock Furniture. He also worked construction. In his free time, he loved to hunt and fish. He was very interested and knowledgeable about the history of Havelock.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 5 PM, at the Isles Reception Hall, 6232 Havelock Ave. Lincoln, NE 68507.

Condolences for Kevin D. Hildebrand
My condolences to the family. He was my best friend growing up and I will miss him very much.
Kevin was a good friend of mine. Many hours were spent in his apartment in Havelock. He will be truly missed.
Kevin and my husband Ed Frazier were great friends and hunted together for many years. I liked/enjoyed Kevin’s warm sense of humor the 11 years I was at the Pawnee Rod & Gun Club at Burchatd, Ne. (2000 to 2011 when Ed passed of cancer). Kevin never came back here after that and we all missed him dearly. Many of us who are still here are saddened to hear of his death. Kevin will always be in my heart. He was definitely a big part of all my memories in Havelock! Those days were some of the funnest days of my life. May you rest in peace Kevin. You will surely never be forgotten.
I hung around him in Havelock during high school and bumped into each other once in a while. He was a great guy. Very sorry to hear about this. RIP Kevin. My condolences to the family.

I want the family to know that Kevin is good and friend he was best friend with my cousin Kevin walker and he knew my brother Randy Ayres he came to my brother’s memorial service and when he worked at Havelock furniture I remember delivered my couch we will miss him
Wow, Kevin and I would talk a blue streak every time we crossed paths, either down at Russ’s or along the bike trail. Kevin had the Irish Gift of Gab, and he could talk for hours about the past, present, and the future. We would start out at 30 minutes, and that would stretch into three hours. I will truly miss my talks with him. I vow I will dedicate my next book to him and his little brother, Phil. They both deserve to be recognized. Most folks don’t know this, but Kevin, Kevin Walker, Jack Davis, and Tim Ellis were in my slide presentation that was instrumental in getting 8-Ball before a publisher. Thanks to those guys my book hit the printer.
Kevin was truly a part of Havelock. Many great moments with him. Hung around with him and brother Phil. They are both missed. May you both rest in peace.
