Joanne Witzke, 87, of Crete, Nebraska, was born into this world March 31, 1939, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Elias and Mary Klassen.

She left this world and arrived in Heaven on September 1, 2026.

Joanne married Al Witzke in Inman, Kansas on June 4, 1959.

She is preceded in death by her husband Al.

She is survived by her son, Doug Witzke and daughter-in-law Glee; her daughter Jan Sorensen and son-in-law Curt; her daughter Kris Sayler and son-in-law John, as well as 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sister Janice Flickinger, her brother Tom Klassen, her brother Randy Klassen and wife Linda, her brother-in-law Ed Witzke and wife Judy, as well as 6 nieces and 3 nephews.

Joanne declared her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and demonstrated that faith by living it out in her life at home, at work, and at church.

She was a wonderful mom, a loving servant to many and a very good professional cake decorator.

The Memorial service for Joanne will be on Saturday, October 10 at 11:00am at Cornerstone Bible Church: 1430 Hickory Ave., Crete, Nebraska 68333.
