JoAnn Melton
Beloved mother and wife JoAnn (Jody/Jo) Melton (Shaner) passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026 due to complications with Dementia. She was born in Geneva Nebraska to Rex and Nona Shaner (deceased).
Jody is survived by her husband Jim Melton, son James Melton Jr., and daughter Jen Melton, who all reside in Lincoln Nebraska.
Jody enjoyed baking, sewing, and loved dogs.
Per her wishes there will be no services, but memorials may be sent to Capital Humane Society Pieloch Pet Adoption Center in Lincoln.
