Condolences for Henry J. Bruner Jr.
My deepest sympathies. Hank was always so fun to have around, especially in a garage or a shop, working on a racecar! Paint fumes, Godfather’s pizza and beer. The best tire man anyone could ask for. He will be missed. I guess it is finally quarter after nine.
To the Bruner family, may you find comfort during this time as God strengthens your heart with his love and peace our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Linda and family,
So sorry to hear of Hanks passing.
Our deepest sympathies to your whole family
Enjoyed working with you and learning how to do the job. Many memories.
I worked for Hank for many years, one of my favorite bosses ever! Wonderful guy he will be deeply missed, my condolences. RIP Hank
I’m so sorry to hear about Hank. I worked with him for 10 years at Nebraska State Patrol. Hank was always such a dear friend and treated me so nice. My prayers are with you and your family.
I worked with Hank for 35 years. He is one of my oldest friends and will be missed. RIP dear friend.
It is with profound sadness and regret that I learned of Hank’s passing. Hank was an institution in the Carrier Enforcement Division, and someone whom we all looked to for answers in situations which were not always clear. I was privileged to work with Hank for a year and one half in the early nineties and enjoyed every minute of that experience. To his family, I pray that Divine Providence holds you all in the palm of His hand and bring you comfort and healing in the months ahead. Rest easy Hank.
Jr and I were the best of buddies and friends when we were kids. He was the best man at my wedding. He was a great classmate when we went to Country school.
My prayers are going to You.

Hank and I worked South Sioux City to Scottsbluff together and attended CVSA Conferences (might have had a red beer together). After we retired enjoyed meeting for coffee. RIP Hank. Linda you and your family are in our prayers. Please keep in touch.
Sorry for your loss, we remember him well and the time we spent together.
Bob & Julie, we are sorry to learn about your father’s passing! I lost a sibling right before Christmas and it is doubly hard. Please accept our condolence and know that we are praying for you!

Linda and family. Growing up at Brainard Hank was like a brother. Looked forward to the weekends when Hank would stay at our farm and he and I would recreate the latest Winston cup race – part of why I had my racing success. If it wasn’t a Ford and it wasn’t shining- well what else can I say! Always Always looked forward to that Patrol car and Hank pulling into my shop checking on what was happening in Brainard and with the family. In his retirement years he and Linda would check out Brainard knowing he could find me and we could talk and talk. He was a true friend and will be missed.RIP old friend. Tell all our racing friends “Hi”

Always enjoyed working with Hank whether it be on the road, responding to hazmat incidents, or training together. Even after he retired he would stop by and talk. He was a great mentor. Rest in peace.
I am sorry to hear of Hanks passing. We used to have coffee together when he was living in Columbus. I think Hank used to shoot trap at Issac Walton. My condolences to the family. Hank was one of the good guys.
I remember Hank from the Columbus days. His parents house was across the street from ours on North Roselane. He was a great guy. My condolences to you Linda and the family.
Linda & Family,
Bob & I extend our sympathy to you all. May the love and support of family and friends help you through this difficult time.
With prayers,
