My grandpa was a wonderful person. We spent most of our childhood camping at Pawnee lake and Branched Oak lake. We also enjoyed many memories on the Big Blue River with grandma Vesta and Jerry. He was a bricklayer all his life along with his two brothers. He put a brick on almost every building in Lincoln.

After he retired he became a snowbird with his special friend grandma Vesta. They would travel to Arizona in the winters and camp. When Nebraska had nice weather they would come back and enjoy time with their families.

He really enjoyed his grandkids and great grandkids on both Vests and his side. Grandma passed several years ago. Now they can reunite. I will miss him dearly.

    Love You Grandpa.

    Jenny

My condolences to you and your family.

Not sure you will remember me, Rick and I were best friends though out our time at Lincoln High and for some time afterwards. I know that you and I met multiple times when Jerry lived on Skyway / Cherrywood.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Jerry. I remember camping with them my mom and Don and the rest of their entire camping group. Those were some good times.
