Garet David Darnall

The family of Garet Darnall is sad to announce his sudden passing on Sunday, May 2, 2021.

Garet was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on July 25, 2000 and resided there for 20 years. He graduated from Northeast High School where he lettered in swim, played soccer and golf. He then attended SCC in Milford and graduated in 2020 with a degree in Precision Machining. He found his dream job at Schneider Electric as a machinist.

He is lovingly missed by his mother Roxanne Darnall (Jason Andrews); father Wade Darnall, sister Shelbi Darnall (Austin Fickle); brother Brody Darnall (Jason Jr. Andrews and Shelby Andrews); grandmothers Linda Rutt (Victor Beanblossom) and Karen Darnall; as well as Garet’s partner and the love of his life, Kirsten Behrends and their new puppy Violet; also numerous relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Lonnie and Carol Darnall.

A celebration of Garet’s life is on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Antelope Park Auld Pavilion, 1650 Memorial Drive in Lincoln, Nebraska.

    Kirsten (my co-worker) adored Garet and the life she had started with him. She beamed every time she spoke of him. My huge sympathies go to all who have experienced this great loss.
