November 5, 1942 – May 30, 2026

Frank William Pasieka, 83, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026. Born on November 5, 1942, in Omaha, Nebraska, Frank was the son of James Pasieka and Mary (née Crostek) Pasieka.

A graduate of Omaha South High School, Frank went on to earn his degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He served in the United States Navy before embarking on a distinguished career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.). His F.B.I. service took the family across the country with assignments in New Orleans, Houston, Washington, D.C., St. Louis, and Las Vegas. After retiring from the F.B.I., Frank continued his public service working at the federal courts in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Frank married the love of his life, Kathleen (née Guilfoyle) Pasieka, in 1966. Together they built a life filled with adventure, resilience, and joy while raising their family amid frequent relocations. He cherished time with family and friends, including memorable family vacations—recently to Boston and New Orleans—an RV trip with the grandchildren, travel to Europe, and gatherings filled with laughter and storytelling. He was an ardent fan of St. Louis Cardinals baseball and of Nebraska Cornhuskers football.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Pasieka, and his brother, James John Pasieka.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Kathleen A. Pasieka; his children, Michael J. Pasieka (Johanna), Tasha K. Pasieka (Larry), and Alexandria H. Pasieka; and grandchildren Holland, Chloe, Andrew, Emily, Kathryn, Michael, and James.

No formal service is planned. A family dinner was held, where all in attendance gave heartfelt and personal remembrances of Frank and his many roles in the family. He would have been both moved and embarrassed by the attention, but so proud of each member of his family.

The family invites friends and loved ones to share memories and condolences online.

I am with the Kiwanis Club and handle the Kiwanis Golf League at Crooked Creek Golf Course. I was so saddened to hear of Frank’s death.

Frank had just joined the golf league this year and I had the pleasure of golfing with him a week ago last Tuesday May 26th. What a delightful man with a great sense of humor. I was looking forward to hearing more of his stories.

    My condolences to the family.

It is with extreme sadness that I learned that Frank had recently passed away. We were co-workers in St Louis during the 1970’s and became good friends; a friendship that both grew stronger and prospered after Frank and Kathy moved to Las Vegas and Rosalie and I moved to Tulsa, OK. The four of us vacationed together on multiple occasions and shared numerous laughing sprees and good times. Frank and I also shared two fishing trips to Canada with other friends and relatives. Frank had a contagious positive attitude and laugh that gladdened those around him. Our deepest sympthy to Kathy and their wonderful family. Marty Weber
