Debbie Marie Burks

Debbie Marie Burks, 67, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on March 3, 2026.
Debbie was born on June 8, 1958, in Washington, D.C., to Earl and Margaret Feathers. She dedicated her life to her family as a loving homemaker, always placing the needs of those she loved above all else. For the past 25 years, Debbie and her husband, Bob, owned and operated Owl City Collectibles, a business that reflected her passion and personality. She also had a special fondness for collecting cookbooks and owls, hobbies that brought her great joy.
Debbie will be remembered for her warmth, her devotion to her family, and the care she gave so freely to those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Margaret Feathers, and her brothers, Bruce, John, and Jeff Feathers.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, Robert Burks; her children, Darrell Talbot, Crystal Weidner, Margaret (Rene) Martinez, Jeremy (Cayla) Talbot, Sarah (Braydon) Waldner, Desiree Burks, Daniel Burks, Chris Burks, and Sherrie Brannon-Roach; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; her sisters, Dorothy Bannister, Patricia Schroeder, and Stephanie Lichtenberg; her brother, David Feathers; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends who will miss her dearly.
