Charles Eugene Langston
Charles “Gene” Eugene Langston, 78, went to be with the Lord on Thursday (12/4/2025). He was born (8/22/1947) in Valentine, NE to Charles and Mae Langston; both deceased. Gene retired from Burlington Northern Railroad (Havelock Shop).
His many hobbies included RC Planes and cars, fishing and riding motorcycles. He was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and had many friends through the program. His 43 years of sobriety were one of his proudest accomplishments.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Joy Langston (Andreasen) and infant son Christopher Langston. He is survived by his four children, Timothy Langston, spouse Sheril. Michelle Bernt (Langston), spouse Fred. Mark Langston, spouse Kelli and Ben Langston, spouse Joanna. Eleven Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren. Three siblings, Karen DeCesare, Dave Langston and Steve Langston.
Private funeral service to be held at Word of Life Church 200 Fletcher Ave. Lincoln, NE 68521.
