Barry Winchell Zulauf, age 84, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025. Barry was born May 15, 1941, in McCook, Nebraska to Josephine Millie Noka/Zulauf (Edwards) and Dayle Winchell Zulauf. Barry spent most of his younger life on the family farm north of McCook and attended Middle School and High School in McCook. He moved with his family to Lincoln in 1968. Barry worked 35 years for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.

Barry was a devoted husband to Jian Zulauf and loving father of Toni Sue Aksamit and Terri Jo Gaffney. He was very proud of his daughters and grandchildren. He immensely enjoyed fishing. working on cars and riding his motorcycle. He loved getting together with his family and friends. He was quick to help others in need.

Barry is survived by his wife Jian, his daughters Toni and Terri, his step-son Dongqing and his wife Mae, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. “Dad/Barry, you are greatly missed by each of us as well as your many friends and extended family members, we love you,”

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9th, 2026 at at City Light North Church. Dessert and beverages will be served after the service.
