Holly Kay Burnett
Holly Kay Burnett was born August 4th, 1963 in Ogallala, Nebraska to James and Marjorie Burnett.
As a child, she moved to North Platte, Nebraska where she graduated from North Platte High School in 1981. She married twice and had two boys, Joshua Riley Branting and Cody Legend Dauel. She was a very loving mother.
As an adult Holly resided in Lincoln, Nebraska and worked for several cleaning companies over the years and ran a small at home daycare.
Preceded in death by her mother Marjorie Lou (Rahmann) Burnett; father James Edward Burnett; and cousin Cindy Rahmann.
Survived by son Joshua (Ashley) Branting of Lincoln; son Cody (Rebecca) Dauel of Alliance, Nebraska; brothers David Burnett and Michael Burnett.
Celebration of life on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Roper and Sons Mortuary. Memorial contributions and condolences, in care of the family to Aspen; 4822 Cleveland Avenue, Lincoln, NE 68504.

So sorry for your loss! Holly was a very close friends. My twin sister Marcie and I was best friends growing up in North Platte and in High school. Please if there is anything I can do please reach out to me and Tony Schultz. We have so many great memories with Holly. We were just like sister!

The Class of 1981 is sad to hear of the loss of our classmate. She will be remembered at our reunion next summer as we come together for our 40 year reunion. She will be missed.
