Condolences for Carmella “Candie” Jean Cleveland
Mari and family. So sorry for you loss.
Candie was my oldest sister. For those of us who really knew Candie we would all agree she was very kind hearted and would do anything for anyone if she could. I will miss her dearly and know that I will spend the rest of my time on earth with an empty spot in my heart that only she could fill. Rest in peace Candie and I will see you when it is my time!
With much love-
Edna
My name is Cindy Koresky Brennenstuhl. Candie and I have been close friends since 1981. We met at Tucker Inn she worked as a waitress. I’m heartbroken to hear of Candies passing. I talked to her a day after she got out of the hospital a few weeks ago. We talked for a couple hours at a time. We always loved to talk about all the fun we had in our Tucker Inn days. So many wonderful friends and good times. I lived with Candie Tina and Bobbi Jo for awhile. We had a great time. She was the best cook. And we had a white Christmas tree one year. That was always special to me and the only one I’ve ever had. People used to get us confused all the time. Or they would tease us. If you saw one of us the other one was close by. But she was the one with the most beautiful blue eyes that just sparkeled. She had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. I can hear her laughing now. Candie had a huge heart and would go out of her way to lend a hand to someone in need. And if she loved you you knew it. And believe me if you crossed her heaven forbid you knew it and she had no qualms about letting you know. Bless her heart. Candie had friends everywhere she was a people person and loved people. My heartbreaks that somehow because of both of our health issues and life. We didn’t get to see each other before God called her home. We had decided that when she got her strength back we were gonna find her another Snuggles. (Puppy) she so loved her Snuggles and thought she was finally ready to look for another pup to love and care for. I’m so sorry I tried to leave messages on fb to get information about her passing and possible services. I just found out today that her celebration of life was yesterday. Ironically I was attending a funeral yesterday as well. Had I known I wouldn’t have missed Candies celebration of life yesterday. I thank God for making our paths cross so many years ago. No matter where life led us we always seemed to drift back to each other. She was a friend I’ll never forget. And she’d be mad that I’m sitting here crying over her. It’s bitter sweet I’ll so miss my friend. But in the next tear I’ll thank God she’s not hurting anymore. And her Snuggles is in her lap. She was so very proud of her girls. And loved her grandchildren and nieces and nephews madley. She was so looking forward to feeling better so she could spend some quality time with her loved ones. Candie and I had a favorite song it was “Angel Flying To Close To The Ground”. I know our Angel Candie is not flying to close to the ground anymore. She flying high with the rest of the Angel watching over all that she loves. So to her family I’m am so very sorry for your loss. She is going to be so missed and she leaves void in many hearts. But I love her and I thank you Candie for all the wonderful memories. God Bless all of you. Prayers and hugs comin your way.
