So sorry for your loss he was a wonderful friend and neighbor to me for a longtime. Glad I got to know him and Evelyn. The Family is in my prayers.
Evelyn is my first cousin so have known Leo seems like forever but since we didn’t live close was hard to communicate and only did so at Christmas time and don’t think he was very well the last few years…at any rate he was a good person as far as I knew and hope that he did not suffer a lot…may he rest in peace Our prayers, love and sympathy to all of the family, God bless him and Evelyn also… our love Shirley and Clarence Dove Superior, Nebraska
Always enjoyed seeing Uncle Leo as I was growing up. My memories of him will always be positive ones and think back to the Sundays at the farm and as we all got a little older and the Christmas Days spent there. Seeing Uncle Leo puffing on a cigar, drinking a bottle of beer in the kitchen, the adults visiting and us cousins goofing around outside, heading to the pond, getting eggs out of the chicken coop, and other fun things in a time much less complicated. I’ll always remember Uncle Leo having a smile on his face, a twinkle in his eye, and an all around good person. Thanks for being such a nice person to us all.
Evelyn & the Kimminau family: We were so sad to hear of Leo’s passing. He was such a gentle, kind and caring person, with his quiet sense of humor. We loved listening to his stories and have good memories of staying with Leo & Evelyn when we came to NE. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. With sincere sympathy,
