Kevin Fox

Kevin Fox, son of Ralph C. and Barbara R. Fox, died December 24, 2023. He was born February 14, 1951 in Lincoln Nebraska.

Kevin graduated from Lincoln High School where he excelled in math and choral music. Singing and music were a lifelong passion. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi, the honor society for scholastic excellence and integrity. He was co-chairman of E-Week featuring ecology and historic preservation, an interest he carried on for life.

Later he received a masters degree in Educational Psychology and was a licensed mental health practitioner. His work in the masters program focused on positive treatment of adolescents. He was the founding director of T.O.A.D. H.A.L.L. (teens off alcohol and drugs happy and less lonely.) The facility received national attention.

In 1993, he cofounded Antlers Center, a family oriented treatment center, and in 2001 was awarded the Herb Lingren International Award for ‘Building Strong Families’. Later, Kevin worked for LPS as a bus operator until he retired in 2016.

Kevin was a member of Sacred Winds United Methodist Church. He was an Elder with the Native American Church. He was proud of his French Canadian roots and Indigenous heritage on his father’s side.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Barbara Fox, his grandparents Leo and Hazel Rehberg and Howard and Mary Fox. 

Kevin is survived by his sister Paige Namuth and brother in law Ron Namuth, his three nieces Lettie Van Hemert, Elizabeth Namuth- Hopkins, and Ashley Namuth, and step daughter Gabrielle A. Lodl.

Memorial services will be held at a later date to be announced.

Patricia Marie (Chapman) Emmons

Preceded in death by husband Ronald Emmons, sons Ryan & Randall Emmons, and parents Velma & Thomas Chapman.

Survived by her two daughters Kelley Emmons & Wendy Klein, and brother Calvin Chapman.

Bonnie L. Murray

Bonnie L. Murray, 83, died at home to illness on December 19, 2023.

Bonnie was born in Lincoln to William and Lorld Bruhl, and lived there most of her life.

Bonnie attended Lincoln High School and went to UNL for a short stint studying Early Childhood Development. She worked as a care staff nurse many years before landing at Walmart where she retired from.

Bonnie loved hiking the outdoors and was able to do some wonderful hiking in Missoula, Montana and Colorado Springs, Colorado where she lived for a short while. She loved going to hear her favorite local bands including the one that her best friend Patty Kozak played in. But her favorite pastime was sitting and visiting with friends and family or listening to a favorite pastor on the radio and doing her bible devotions. Bonnie is a member of Capitol City Christian Church where she has many friends she enjoyed seeing every week and doing bible study with.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings and son, Leslie (Todd) Bundy.

Bonnie is survived by brother John Bruhl, sons, Mark Bundy and wife Deb, Troy Bundy, and daughters, Lorie Bundy, Nancy Phillips, Vickie Knaub and husband Gary, and Michelle Daake and husband Dustin. Bonnie has sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Her family and friends loved her so much and will miss her deeply.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Capitol City Christian Church; 7800 Holdrege St. in Lincoln, NE 68505 on February 3rd, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Please enter from the west side of building.
