Danise Ellen Krueger (Stockbarger), Lincoln, NE, aged 75, she was surrounded by her children as she left this world on March 17, 2024.

Danise was born November 12, 1948 in Oak Park, IL. She called many places her home throughout life, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Kansas and Nebraska. She attended University of Illinois (Go Illini!) and received her master’s in nursing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Danise was a mother, a grandma/mimi, a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a friend. She was an amazing mental health nurse for many, many years. She experienced joy through the small things- a cold Coca-Cola, Kansas City BBQ, a new book from Barnes and Noble, a shopping trip to Nordstrom, being by a lake and enjoying a steak dinner.

But what brought her the most joy were her 3 kids and 12 grandkids. To her they were the best, and she loved them with every ounce of her being.
