Our sweet beloved Anna passed away on May 21, 2018. She had been fighting bronchitis, pneumonia and lung issues for a long time. Anna is survived by her mama, Michele Keyser, her papa, Christopher Keyser, her biological father, Samuel Rocha III, her sister, Kaylie Rocha, her step siblings, Brandon Bice Thompson, Hope Keyser, Kaci Fisk, Christopher “Bubba” Keyser, her grandparents, Michael Jusevich, Sally Jusevich, Candee Rocha, Connie Keyser, by her great grandparents Betty Hermelbracht, Pat Bober, Iola Wilson as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her aunt Elizabeth Jusevich, uncle Anthony Michael Castaneda her grandparent Samuel Rocha Jr., her great grandparents Frank and Mary Sak, Myron Hermelbracht, Ethel Houston. Anna was an angel here on earth. Everyone who had the privilege to know her loved her because of her beautiful smile and unconditional love that she shared with the people around her. To know her was to love her. Our beautiful butterfly has been set free to watch over us from heaven. Thank you Lord for giving us this amazing girl, whose body may not have worked properly but showed us how to live, laugh and love.

Donald Eugene Jenkins, 72, of Lincoln, passed away on May 13, 2018. Born June 30, 1945 in Warrenton, Virginia to Glen and Hazel (Rippen) Jenkins. Don graduated from Lincoln High in 1963 and then joined the Air Force. He was proud of his military service and volunteered for many years at the VA. In 1999, after a 26 year career, Don retired from the Lincoln Police Department. During his time at LPD Don earned his undergraduate and master degrees from Doane College. He then began second career as an educator in the State Community College system. Don enjoyed a lifelong affiliation with the Boy Scouts of America. Although not one himself, he guided both of his sons to the rank of Eagle Scout. The three of them were honored to serve in the prestigious “Order of the Arrow.” Survivors include his wife Donnette; sons David and Darren; grandchildren Joshua, Caleb and Meghan; sister Glenda (Larry) Mahagan and brother Bill (Joyce) Jenkins and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Thursday, June 7, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church, 1610 So. 11th St., Lincoln, NE. September 23, 1930 – May 11, 2018 Robert grew up in Tulare, CA, the fourth of five sons of W.E. and Bula McCallister. After his graduation from high school, he attended College of the Sequoias and San Francisco State. He pursued the ministry at Iliff School of Theology and received a B.D. from Pacific School of Religion. He served the Methodist church in Stockton, St Helena and Mill Valley, CA. Bob then went on to pursue an MA and PhD at Northwestern. He held a variety of teaching and administrative positions at Baker University, Doane College, Fresno State, Missouri Valley College and St. Mary College (Professor Emeritus). He was instrumental in the development of the Doane-Lincoln program. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, especially Sequoia National Park in California. He loved music, hiking, reading and was an avid sports fan. He served as advisor to the Doane men’s basketball team during his tenure there. Survivors: son, Andy of Crete; daughter and son-in-law, Marti and Tim McKee, grandsons Alex and Ian, of Lincoln. Services will be held Thursday, May 17th at 10:30 AM, Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2110 Sheridan Blvd, Lincoln, Nebraska.
