Carmella “Candie” Jean Cleveland was born in Lincoln Nebraska on September 14, 1953. Candie passed with dignity on August 9, 2019 peacefully with family by her side. Survived by her mother Flora J.Pool; daughters Christina (Daniel) Sweeney, Bobbi Jo (Jeremiah) Stroman; grandchildren Brittany (Christopher James) Closson, Alexandra Stroman, Jacob Stroman, Madeline (Alex) Genbauffe, Andrew Sweeney, Aiden Sweeney and Adam Sweeney; sisters Mollie (Dennis) Mertens, Edna (Larry) Jones, Mari (Timothy) Eckhout; brother Glen Weiler; and nieces and nephews Chad (Nicole) Mertens, Summer (Micah) Fulmer, Zachary (Jennica) Hall, Timothy (Kara) Eckhout, Wyatt Jones and Connor Eckhout . Proceeded in death by her father Glen Weiler; step father Jerome Pool; grandparents and nephew Clint Eckhout. The family will have a private burial service at a later date. Celebration of life was held August 17, 2019 at 3705 South Folsom from 1-3:00 p.m. For condolences fill out the form below. Trent S. Hellbusch
Trent Sean Hellbusch passed away on Thursday, August 8th, 2019 in his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born on December 8, 1963 in Lincoln, NE to Dennis and Marie Hellbusch. Trent attended Southeast High School, and joined the Army after graduation. There, he served as a cook and met this wife, Rebecca in Colorado Springs, where they were married. After his time in the Army, Trent and Rebecca settled in Lincoln, and opened T&R’s Garden in 1994. Trent loved his time there cooking and serving others. In 2008, he rejoined the Army through the National Guard, and was deployed to Iraq in 2010. Upon his return, he worked as a Property Book Manager during the week, while still serving as an NCO in the Nebraska National Guard, excelling in his passion of cooking, and leading others. He has impacted hundreds of lives through his life of service, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Trent was a reliable leader and friend that you could count on for anything. He is survived by wife, Rebecca, children Brent and Brianna, and son in law Brandon. Memorial Service was held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Lincoln Church, 4325 Sumner Street in Lincoln.

Ronald “Ron” Leroy Jackson
Ronald LeRoy Jackson, age 69, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday morning August 6th 2019. Born July 17th 1950 in Lincoln, he was the son of the late Joan L. Bridges. Ron was a respected bricklayer and had built many of the buildings and houses in Lincoln and the surrounding area. This included new builds and numerous repairs and updates. His favorite hobbies included hunting and fishing. Ron is survived by his three sons, Brad Jackson of Colwich, Kansas, Brian and LuAnn Jackson of Tobias, Nebraska, and John and Trica Jackson of Cheney, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Rebecca, Matthew, Brianna, Brandon, Brigette, Keith, Wesley and Ashley; and one great grandson Santiago; sister Kelly; nieces and nephews and many loving relatives. He was preceded in death by his mother Joan, brother Scott and son Matthew. The family would like to give thanks to the special care that Ron received at Madonna St. Jane De Chantal and Aspen Cremation and Burial Service. Ron’s celebration of life was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday August 17th, 2019 at Christ Place Church – Van Dorn, 5555 Roose St, Lincoln, NE 68506 with Pastor Lance Riley officiating. His ashes were spread privately by the immediate family at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family asked for memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
